Rosalin Cottage rests in Perceton Row, which dates from the early 19th Century and is a designated Conservation Area, being one of a few surviving Miners Rows, making it a great base for couples and history lovers looking for a base in North Ayshire.

Be welcomed into a beautiful property with a kitchen offering ample amenities and contemporary furnishings.

The living room is a great space for guests to relax after a long day of exploring the local area, with a dining room ideal for romantic meals for two, complemented by a glass of fizz.

The harbourside walk enjoys various features with an SSSI across the bay, plus a Scottish Maritime Museum which includes the oldest sea-going private steam yacht and the last Clyde “puffer”; reminders of Irvine's former prominence as a seaport. As well as vibrant coffee shops and Arts Centre there is the 16th century Ship Inn, restaurants and other pubs.

From the harbour, access Irvine’s sand dunes and expansive beach, linking to those at Barassie, Troon and beyond.

Cottage is beautiful.

The changes with the extension make a huge difference too, the light is perfect for drawing pretty much all day. The only problem was that the garden was overgrown, so it was difficult to get to the summerhouse and wood store.
