We had a couple of issues on arrival which were quickly sorted out by the neighbour who seems to look after the property.

We loved the conservatory and we had plenty of space in the bungalow. We would have liked a folder containing equipment instructions and general information. The bungalow was in good repair except for the bathroom which needs to be modernised, it constantly smelt musty and the bath was very slow at filling. The decor of the bungalow was 'interesting', a random selection of furniture styles and an obvious passion for lemons! The bed was very soft but I guess that is personal taste. STAR RATING would be 3.5 if there was an option to do so.

With regard to the appliances, previous guests have not reported any difficulties using them without instructions. However, if there is popular demand, we may consider adding a welcome folder with general information. In relation to your comments regarding the bathroom, we have made significant investments to update this and do not feel it needs to be modernised further. Of course, if any issues with the bathroom had been reported to us during your stay, we would have resolved them as quickly as possible for you at the time. Following your departure, the property was inspected and no smell was identified. We always make sure the property is thoroughly ventilated between each booking. In relation to the decor and furniture, these are accurately represented within the listing and form part of the character and charm of the home. Many guests particularly appreciate the comfortable and homely atmosphere. The bed is custom-built, and majority of guests find it very comfortable. Mattress comfort is naturally a matter of personal preference, and there is an orthopaedic mattress in the next bedroom which is firmer and was available for you to use during your stay.
