The property looks unassuming from the outside, but it was so nice on the inside.

We loved watching the birds in the garden, and the short walk to Ty Mawr Country Park where we walked our dog regularly. Road access to the house was tight but perfectly manageable and whilst the parking space was small we did manage to park our Tesla with no issue. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed comfortable. It was a very peaceful location.

Hillcrest is wonderful accommodation with more than everything you could wish for (including providing food to feed the birds) such a lovely touch.

Unfortunately the last evening of our stay, there was an awful storm which resulted in power failure, but the Owner rang to give details and approx time the power would be restored, much appreciated. Would definitely recommend Hillcrest.

We had a lovely stay at hill crest.

The house was comfortable, well equipped and immaculate. The house and garden are beautiful, we made friends with the squirrels and the little birds which came for breakfast each morning. The area is lovely(very quiet) with a little park next door and a great selection of takeaways locally (we didn’t do much cooking). There is a parking space out front - too small to drive into with a big car, but if you parallel park sideways across the driveway then it’s just fine. We had a lovely relaxing stay with our two dogs and will definitely be visiting again. X
