Description
Pen Glorian is a distinguished converted barn with origins as far back as 1607 and an important part of Conwy towns agricultural past.
Its name translates to 'the weighing place'.
Referring to its links to the grain mill at the bottom of the hill in the village of Gyffin.
Tucked within a quiet mews style courtyard, access is via a shared archway with 5 neighbouring properties converted from the original farm yard buildings.
Pen Glorian sits approximately 1 mile from the majestic Conwy Castle.
Its locality, on the edge of town, offers peace and calm with the option to walk into town or take a short effortless drive to town or to the local white sands beach at Conwy Morfa.
Inside, the property offers a calm, refined atmosphere with lounge, bedroom, shower room, with walk in shower, and kitchen being all on one level which benefits those with mobility issues.
The garden is overlooked by a balcony and a summer house at the top of the garden, with views of Conwy town mountain, the ancient Vadre hill of Deganwy and part of the Conwy medieval town walls.
The garden is enclosed by a 5ft fence and neighboured by farm land which does contain sheep for part of the year.
The property is heated by oil cental heating and also had a log burner in the lounge.
Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and power are all included.
Kindling and logs are available to purchase from the next door property, Woodmans Cottage.
Or message the owner to arrange delivery beforehand if preferred.

What guests are saying
What a wonderful holiday let, the cottage was perfect.
Quiet, spacious, just far enough outside the main town and it had everything we needed. Donna was the perfect host, she greeted us on our arrival, even taking time to show us round. There was a lovely secure garden for our dog to roam about. Donna is a mountain of local information, if its walks for the dogs, or sightseeing, ask Donna, she will know best places to park and places for easy access. There is a small mezzanine floor above the living room with an outside balcony, lovely place to watch the sun setting, or sit and read a book with a glass of wine. On the mezzanine floor Donna has numerous books and maps of the area etc. useful information. There are numerous places to eat locally, again ask Donna, with a lovely Fish & Chip shop at the bottom of the road. We will be returning to this lovely country and especially Pen Glorian.
Due to road closures we arrived late, to find the owner waiting, lights on and water down for the dogs she said if the car was there she was always at hand and she was, can’t fault.
The accommodation is an ideal location to see the beautiful North Wales, perfect for humans and pooches. A beautiful safe garden for them, all mod cons for humans and rugs, towels, balls, treats and even a lead if you’ve forgotten one for pooch. Doggy heaven. It is spacious and very comfortable, they have thought of everything. Just what you want for a relaxing break. Definitely come again xx
Excellent property plenty of space to sit, read or watch TV and the upstairs balcony is great for relaxing and enjoying the sun.
A good sized enclosed garden for the dogs and comfy spots for the humans. Close to excellent pubs beaches and of course Conwy castle. We had a wonderful week.
