    We love this property and this was our second visit , our only downside was the comfort of the beds both of which were “ lumpy “ and gave us backache , however , we do appreciate that everyone likes something different when it comes to mattresses so difficult to please everyone

  • "Property was on the whole immaculate (other than detailed below) with incredible views."

    Very well equipped too with fantastic appliances and everything you could need in the kitchen. Only a couple of issues, the drawers in the super king room were broken. The sofa is in need of a very deep clean (smells very musty and lots of stains). The pillows in the bedrooms are in desperate need of replacing, completely flat and again smell musty through the fresh bedding (which was lovely bed linen!) this does detract from the overall luxury feel of the house as you expect luxurious bedding but the pillows were really awful. Other than those few things, the house was wonderful and we will certainly be back!

Due to the high demand of staycations last year the property has had very heavy usage and also been very popular. We will arrange for the sofa to be regularly cleaned throughout the year and ask that the housekeeper keep a close eye on any stains in between, in case these need attending to on the change over day as a spot clean. In addition, we also have the bedding, pillows and mattress protectors regularly cleaned by the housekeeper. The team are always available to help deal with any issues during your stay on 01736 630015 option 2 and would do what we can to resolve them as soon as possible.   • "This place was absolutely perfect."

    The view is amazing whether in the day looking across to Godrevy or in the evening seeing the lights of St Ives. The accomodation worked brilliantly for us. It was so good having the downstairs lounge for the kids and great to have Sky Q so they could watch movies down there. This is a fabulous property and worked incredibly well for a winter break.

  • "As someone with mobility difficulties, Sandsifters 3 is ideal with a flat entrance from the car park and able to live on the one floor."

    For the same reason it would be good to have one higher, comfortable armchair in the lounge. The property is immaculate and excellently maintained, with wonderful views and in a great location.

  • "The cost for the same time next year is over £5kpw."

    So our 2 weeks in this lovely property is over £10k. Not sure if this is dynamic pricing but this is excessive so we would not recommend at that price.

  • ""Wow! You really must stay here - what an amazing property with the most stunning views of Carbis Bay and the sea/coastline ever!"

    Just a skip and a hop to the beach, also the train station for a trip into St Ives for dinner etc. Very tasteful and contemporary interior with sofas you can stretch out on and admire the view. Owners have thought of everything including the Nespresso capsules! We walked to La Casita for dinner which is highly recommended. We also cycled from Bodmin to Padstow for lunch. A really great place to stay - highly recommended. "

St Ives 2 miles ; Hayle 3.5 miles ; Penzance 8.5 miles

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching.
