  • "Property was absolutely lovely."

    So close to town and yet so quiet. Great big rooms and plenty of space. A proper kitchen you can cook in and a welcome basket. Plenty of big towels and hand towels. Vestibule and hallway made it so easy to get all our luggage in and out. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch.

  • "We stayed at 2 Regent Mews for six nights in June and found it to be clean, comfortable and close to the sights of Penzance."

    It lived up to the description in the listing. The walk down to the promenade and the Jubilee Pool only took a minute, and it was an easy walk to Newlyn for a coffee at Fika at the Art Gallery. We did our journey by train and walked down to the station at the end of our stay, but you would not want to do this walk with bags up the hill. Good wifi, good kitchen, clean bathroom. We found this to be a great place to unwind.

  • "This is an excellent property."

    It has a great, quiet location - very close to the pubs, restaurants and shops of Chapel Street, and only a three-minute stroll down to the Promenade. Both bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable, and there’s plenty of hanging space for clothes - with decent hangers! The bathroom is large and well equipped, as is the lounge/diner/kitchen, which is also very comfortable. It’s been decorated to a high standard and is very well maintained. We thought parking could be an issue, but this wasn’t the case, and whilst we’d booked a weekly pass - that allows you to come and go as you like - at the Harbour Car Park, it wasn’t really needed as we always found a space on Queen Street or Regent Terrace. And it is possible to drive right up to the front door to unload/load. We go to Penzance quite a bit and would not hesitate to book 2 Regent Mews again.

  • "We enjoyed our stay at 2 Regent Mews which ,as previous guests said is very well located when travelling without a car."

    The house is well equipped and comfortable and the small problem which we had on the first day was soon resolved after a phone call to Dave who responded immediately. Thank you for the goodies , flowers and the milk in the fridge which welcomed us on arrival. The weather was kind for early May though the wind was chilly but 2 Regent Mews made an excellent base as we explored the area.

    A clock in the main kitchen diner would have been useful. Apart from that everything was fine, clean and tidy. The location of the property was ideal - quiet and near the local pubs, shops and buses.

  • "We had a fantastic stay at 2 Regent Mews over Christmas, which felt like a real home from home."

    The house is comfortable, spacious, and equipped with everything needed. The location is ideal (especially if travelling car-free) - within walking distance of the town centre, railway station and bus stops but tucked away in a quiet street behind a church. It was an ideal base for exploring the South West Coastal Path. And the festive treats left by the owner were much appreciated!

  • "A spacious comfortable property equipped with everything you could need for your holiday."

    The central location is perfect for anyone who has come to Cornwall without a car as their are multiple facilities nearby and you are in easy walking distance of the bus and train station. The welcome bottle of wine, biscuits and milk in the fridge were an added bonus.

    Tucked away tightly behind the church, so very quiet. Clean comfortable house, well equipped and nice welcome pack.

St Ives 8 miles. Helicopter to Isles of Scilly - 30 minutes

Penzance hosts Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival. There are also The Exchange, Newlyn and Penlee Art Galleries. One of Cornwall’s most popular holiday areas is the spectacular sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, the coastline hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves as well as winding village streets and other places to visit and explore.
