  • "The penthouse is clean and has all the facilities you need for a stay."

    Main bed was nice and comfy. Just a cpl of things that need looking into. The windows and balcony need cleaning every changeover, this has been mentioned before. BUT the owner did get the cleaners Back to clean this area ASAP. Thanks for that. The bin shed was overloaded with rubbish. Also.. the windows stayed clean all the week we were there once cleaned..     The towan penthouse is in a beautiful position and is very well equipped and is very well decorated a few small points are that the wi fi for alexa does not work and disappointed that the views are restricted because the windows are dirty and covered in pigeon muck as was the bedroom window also all the cushions and seating material have been left outside on the balcony seating and are wet and damp and are covered in meldue

    David, it was lovely speaking with you personally regarding your last‑minute booking. I was a little sorry to read your review, as had you mentioned the windows during your stay, I would have been more than happy to arrange for our window cleaner to attend straight away. Being so fortunate to be located opposite the beach does occasionally mean seagulls overhead – a small downside to an otherwise wonderful setting. Regarding the outdoor cushions, our housekeeper lives locally and could easily have washed them had you felt they weren’t quite up to standard. I do hope that aside from these points, you enjoyed your second stay at the apartment, and we’d love to welcome you back again in the future. Property Owner

  • "Only didn’t give full marks for the maintenance as the towel rail didn’t work in the en suite so hard work to dry towels other than in the tumble dryer."

    Stayed in a few apartments in Onshore this was the best yet. Bed so comfy, wonderful outdoor furniture makes a difference, even better if would be if the cleaners cleaned the glass balcony and glass patio doors as streaky dirty glass spoils the initial view. Will definitely rebook.

  • "When you walk into the apartment it’s clean and airy."

    The view from the living area and balcony is stunning. It has everything in there that we needed. From kitchen utensils to laundry facilities. My partner has disabilities and the lift facility is great. The designated parking set up is very convenient. Overall it’s a fantastic apartment that we would highly recommend recommend right in the centre of Newquay facing Towan Beach and Newquay Harbour.

  • "Excellent flat, location is perfect and the interior decoration is lovely."

    Very clean on arrival with a nice welcome pack. Brilliant views as you would expect and this particular flat benefits from a more generous sized parking space with nothing to one side, so a better choice than others in the same block if you drive a larger car. Particularly liked that the seats are actually comfy in the living room unlike some other rentals I’ve been in. You also feel less like you are in a goldfish bowl when people walk by compared to the lower down flats. The only downside I could think of is the noise at weekends, but this is the same for all onshore flats and to be expected for the location, so wouldn’t put me off happily staying again!

  • "Had a really good stay at this property, with undoubtedly one of the best views we’ve ever had."

    Modern throughout and good bathrooms and entertaining space, good for all types of families. A handy lift for luggage was a lifesaver. Great location in Newquay relatively central to everything and amazing to be on Towan beach in under a minute from your door. Not sure why it’s not pet friendly as number 7 is which is a real shame. Make sure you take extra toilet roll/bags before you go so you don’t get caught out, limited supplied. Will we go back? Yes.

  • "Towan Penthouse is just lovely."

    The view is outstanding. The apartment is modern, clean and comfortable. There are nIce touches like smart central heating for the chilly first thing in the mornings. The only downside is the lack of sun on the balcony and the wind that can whip in making it cold at this time of year. The apartment is so convenient to all amenities. We will definitely be back

    Overall it is a lovely apartment a few small points the balcony needed a good clean ,still bits of food on the floor, food left in the fridge and freezer and the main bedroom window was covered in birds mess all of which we had to clean which is not acceptable considering the price we paid and not being able to get entry until 3pm and be out by 10am also the bed linen and towels could do with replacing

  • "Great property fresh and clean, amazing spot."

    Living room chairs look great but a little uncomfortable and cannot see tv with no blinds on windows ( real minor grumbles). Black out blinds in bedrooms would be a good addition. This is by far the best apartment we have stayed.

  • "We stayed 17/03/24 - 24/03/24 as a family requiring many disabled needs towan penthouse was just perfect for us from the vehicle parking access is of ease & secure the disabled lift was just perfect access to the apartment then entering towan well the VIEW is just spectacular the balcony was well equipped with comfortable furniture we have stayed in many holiday penthouse accommodations in cornwall/devon over the years but this has to be the best to date the high standards of cleanliness comfort fixtures & fittings made our stay just (perfect) towan penthouse is in very close proximity to all shops right on your doorstep, just a (suggestion) of a tv in each of the bedrooms would be a real bonus to some guests, the amazon alexa was also an added bonus to us thank you sykes holidays for such a lovely stay at towan penthouse we will definitely be returning very soon to our new found penthouse apartment."
