  • "Cherry Tree House was our ideal location for our weeks holiday near to close family members."

The house was super clean and tidy with comfortable beds and a good sized sitting room with comfee seating. The enclosed back garden was a great sun trap with good seating arrangements when we chilled during the afternoon and evening with a glass of wine. The sun loungers were ideal during the afternoon worm weather. In a few words, clean, tidy, fast Internet, and most of all a caring host, the cream tea was a lovely touch, thanks you Sandy

  • "We had a great week at Cherry Tree House, it's a lovely house, very spacious and clean with everything you need there, the beds are super comfy and we loved the garden."

The neighbours were very friendly and helpful, my son locked my car keys in the boot of the car and the neighbours came out to try and help us get them out, they were so lovely. Cherry Tree House is in a great location it's very quiet there, it is in walking distance to the supermarkets, town and beach. We just wished we had booked another week as none of us wanted to leave, we will definitely book Cherry Tree House again without a doubt.

  • "We had a lovely stay."

The house was clean and on a nice quiet street only a 15 minute walk into town. The garden was lovely and sunny in the evening and a bbq is provided which was nice and clean. Great location. Marazion beach only a few minutes drive away has a calm shallow sea, great for kids and St Michael’s mount is worth a visit. Great base for a lovely family holiday

  • "The cottage is well situated in a rural area but close to all the super stores like Sainsburys, Tesco and Morrisons, For those without cars there is bus stops 100 meters away, and it is a very short walk into town that is mostly flat terrain."

Nice garden and patio, plus a very nice conservatory, my only poor comment is that the TV reception was quite poor.

Hi Robert, Thank you very much for the positive feedback, its much Appreciated. Regarding the TV, the front room set works clear on Free view, however, due to some times having poor reception, the one in the conservatory can pixulate at times. As a note we have had another look at both TV and have changed the areal lead. Again thank you and we hope you visit again in the future. Property Owner

About the location

St Ives 8 miles. Helicopter to Isles of Scilly - 30 minutes

Penzance hosts Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival. There are also The Exchange, Newlyn and Penlee Art Galleries. One of Cornwall’s most popular holiday areas is the spectacular sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, the coastline hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves as well as winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by a causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust’s stunningly beautiful St Michael’s Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens. Walk across at low water and take one of the ferry boats back when the tide is up. Penzance with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and harbour is a must as it is the jumping-off point for day trips to the Isles of Scilly as well as being the harbor. The South West Coast Path passing through Penzance winds its way along the clifftops towards Land’s End. On the way, stop off for a coffee and a rest at beautiful Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head. A stunning walk for those seeking solitude, exercise and some of the UK’s best coastal scenery. Penzance is the perfect holiday base. Ideally placed for exploring this land of Celtic myth and legend and with enough to do and see in the immediate area to keep all the family occupied.
