The property
Yards from the Coast Path which leads down to Rinsey Cove and within walking distance of the beach is Evergreen, a detached, Grade II listed cottage, with sweeping views over Mount?s Bay and west Cornwall.
This very special cottage is simply gorgeous.
Enter via a small porch, kick off your walking boots and proceed through the double front doors to the large open-plan sitting room where you'll find white-painted beams, beautiful French furnishings and a small open fire.
The dining area has a huge table with benches/chairs and is ideal for seating the whole family.
The sweet galley kitchen has a distinctive range-style cooker, and from here you access the sunny conservatory which has a door to the garden.
Open tread stairs lead to four pretty bedrooms, two romantic king size doubles, one of which has views over the countryside; a single with a 4' antique French bed, and another single with ornate French bed.
They share a bright and airy bathroom, whilst on the ground floor there is a shower room.
Outside, is a large, peaceful and relaxing garden with a lovely summer house, lawns, shrubs and trees and a patio with a table/chairs and barbecue.
The hamlet of Rinsey comprises mostly granite cottages, a cliff-top engine house standing sentinel to its tin mining history and is a short walk from its own little cove, which is owned by the National Trust.
Nearby Praa Sands is one of Cornwall's finest sandy beaches and the extremely popular village of Porthleven, with interesting shops, cafes and restaurants sitting around its pretty harbour is within easy reach.

About the location
RINSEY COVE
The village of Praa Sands sits on the south coast in between Helston and Marazion. Praa Sands is known for its mile-long sandy beach and excellent surfing conditions. There is a bar/restaurant overlooking the beach – the perfect spot for lunch with a view or sunset drinks – a Post Office and general stores, beach cafe with fish & chips, and a beach/surf shop stocked with everything you could need for a great day at the beach. Praa Sands is also home to a Golf and Country Club, from where the most wonderful sea vista can be enjoyed whilst you play. Just inland from the beach is Pengersick Castle, the tower of which dates back to the 16th century. It is said that Pengersick is haunted, and that the ghost of a monk has been seen wandering the grounds! The house at Pengersick is rumoured to be the birthplace of John Carter, the self styled King of Prussia and a tunnel which leads from the house to the beach was apparently once used by smugglers.
