  • "We were pleasantly surprised by just how beautiful this house is."

    It exceeded our expectations in every way. Thoughtfully designed and full of charm, it was simply perfect for our stay. The long driveway gave the kids plenty of safe space to play, and the soft rugs and cozy blankets made it feel extra comfortable. The location is unbeatable, overlooking Praa Sands and blessed with fresh sea air all day long. We’d happily return and wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

St Marys is a beautifully converted chapel situated in the heart of Germoe in the vicinity of Praa Sands, Cornwall, offering captivating sea and countryside views.

With an enclosed garden and Smart TV's, this rural three bedroomed retreat with private driveway boasts a stylish ground-floor bathroom, complete with a bath, shower over, heated towel rail, basin, and WC which is perfect for a relaxing soak.

There is also a convenient ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, providing ample space for everyone to prepare for the day ahead.

The King sized bedrooms have ample storage space for your belongs and large Smart TVS.

Praa Sands Holiday Homes are a collection of three wonderful properties that include one converted chapel, a stunning detached house and a newly built home set just a touch further inland in the quiet village of Germoe. All of these offer guests pet-friendly accommodation as well as a great location near the stunning coast in Cornwall. Explore the local province, where you can dine at the popular Sandbar restaurant whilst enjoying a backdrop of sea views or enjoy a light bite from the charming Post Office Café. Spend a day on Praa Sands Beach, where you can bathe, paddle the shores or try your hand at the locals’ favourite sport of surfing. Keen walkers will delight at the close proximity of the renowned South West Coast Path, which is right on your doorstep and offers some of the best sights and scenery in the area. The village of Praa Sands sits on the south coast in between Helston and Marazion. Praa Sands is known for its mile-long sandy beach and excellent surfing conditions. There is a bar/restaurant overlooking the beach – the perfect spot for lunch with a view or sunset drinks. Praa Sands is also home to a Golf and Country Club, from where the most wonderful sea vista can be enjoyed whilst you play. Just inland from the beach is Pengersick Castle, the tower of which dates back to the 16th century. It is said that Pengersick is haunted, and that the ghost of a monk has been seen wandering the grounds! The house at Pengersick is rumoured to be the birth place of John Carter, the self styled King of Prussia and a tunnel which leads from the house to the beach was apparently once used by smugglers. There are supermarkets and other retail stores in Penzance (8 miles) and Helston (6 miles).
