  • "Really nice property and in a great location."

Easy to get to and great and easy to go places as just off the A30. Our Husky loved the garden just needed to watch out for a couple of holes in the hedge. Instructions on how the heating works would be good. Over all we would go back to same house.

  • "On arrival there was lots of cobwebs and spiders,if it was cleaned prior to our arrival ther shouldn't be any."

Pots and pans could do with some replacing,we couldn't use 1 frying pan as it was rusty inside. Could do with a couple more big saucepans. The house is lovely and comfortable but it's damp, all our clothes felt damp come the end of the week, there was mould on the net curtain in the downstairs bedroom. Apart from these few things we had a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend. Asked for the hot tub to be cleaned as there were alot of us using it and a man was there early the next day(thankyou so much). The beds were really comfortable. The multi table was great, could probably do with a tumble dryer as we had rain during the week and struggled to dry towels from being in the hot tub. And the bath towels. The area was lovely and didn't really notice the A30 which was quite close. The garden was great and secure.

  • "The cottage was fabulous, and clean and comfortable."

We all especially enjoyed the multi-game table, especially on the wetter days. The kitchen equipment needs attention though please. There was only one large saucepan, which is not good for cooking meals for 10 people. There are no scissors. A couple of the glasses (1 wine and 1 pint) were broken when we arrived. But we managed, and had a great time. Thank you.

  • "Wish the weather was better as we didn't get much chance to enjoy the beautiful garden, but its our lovely british weather."

The property was really nice, very clean. Pictures are exactly what you get. Gaming table was a hit with all the kids. Even though the house is situated by the A30, you cant really hear much noise and everyone still got a good night sleep. Hot tub was lush and the owners were very helpful. All kids were in and out of it all the time so it needed a clean, one phonecall and someone was in to sort it out within 20 minutes! Considering the weather, we couldve done with a tumble dryer as well, but we managed. Overall, a really nice stay, would definately recommend.

I would 100% recommend to others. Although WiFi was very slow we still had a good time.

  • "Great location for quick access to both coasts and easy to find you way to some of the more remote parts."

Very convenient location as long as you don't mind being close to the A30.. And we didn't mind at all

  • "The house is ideally located for both North and South coasts and is easy to find."

It now has its own entrance straight off the road past the Clockhouse Garage with plenty of parking. The house looks as if it has been recently refurbished and is clean and bright throughout. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds comfortable. Similarly with the bathrooms with good size showers. The galley kitchen is small but adequate with a good size range cooker, it would be beneficial however to provide some larger saucepans and Pyrex bowls as cooking for 10 was a bit of a juggle with those provided, which in itself is the only real criticism of the property. The games table provided was a big hit with all of us.
