Fantastic property set in the wonderful town of Broadway.

Cottage was clean, comfortable and tidy and had everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Property is very quiet and peaceful. We had a fantastic 2 week stay in glorious weather and the gardens are just wonderful. Very close to local amenities with superb pubs and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. Huge thanks to Karl and all his staff for dealing with very minor issue so promptly. This is a gem of a property and definitely on our return list.

Little Gables is a dream cottage in a beautiful location.

We were there in temperatures of 30+ and spent most of our time in the beautiful garden. A downstairs bathroom would be an amazing addition as well as a shower over the bath. Having said that the house is delightful, so old, so much history.

A wonderful property, full of charm.

Perfectly positioned close enough to walk into the village yet in a quiet and peaceful location. Beautifully presented - one of the best holiday cottages we've stayed at.

The weather has been nice enough to sit in the lovely garden with wisteria in bloom. Karl (the owner) kindly keeps in touch to check all is well. Little Gables remains a special place in our hearts.

Very well maintained both inside and out with a lovely garden for relaxing after a day in The Cotswolds. Private Parking for 3 cars a huge bonus in this busy area. The owner ensures that all goes well and whenever we return with family this will be our first port of call.

A simply lovely property in a great location in Broadway with the added (and rare) bonus of off-street parking behind the property.

The most beautiful stay for our family Christmas.

Little Gables had everything we needed and more. The house is very homely and is full of character. Karl our host was very helpful and accommodating and was at the other end of the phone if needed. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Little Gables is a regular visit for me however I visited this time with a different group of friends and they love it too !

Fabulous and convenient location with parking - right on the High Street which is so beautiful for the festive season. Sleeps six in 1 x double & 2 x King size beds - two bathrooms no downstairs toilet which is worth noting but not an issue for mobile individuals - an amazing property, so comfortable, social with a well equipped and spacious kitchen/diner - log burner in the lounge for cosy evenings - Aga for those that want to test their country cooking skills - my visits always in December however wonderful to look out over the well maintained and manicured rear garden which would be a summer delight with garden furniture too ! Nothing to complain about - Karl shares ana amazing and beautiful home - I’ll be back and I think it will push be into double digit visits to this beautiful property and Broadway - thanks x

Stunning house set in beautiful garden within a short walk of all that the gorgeous Broadway has to offer.

Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen, a little cupboard for our dry goods would have been a bonus. We mastered the AGA and enjoyed relaxing in the lounge in front of the wood burner. Loved the bathroom with the candle. Thank you to Karl for your kind texts to check all was well.

Great location at the top of a beautiful high street. It has everything you could want. A lovely traditional garden, fantastic kitchen, extremely comfortable beds and a huge fireplace with log burner for cosy evenings. We can’t wait to come back!

Another wonderful stay at Little Gables.

This beautiful house has everything you could want for a holiday in Broadway. The house and garden are lovely and it is in a prime spot in the village. The park, fantastic bakers, shops , pubs and galleries are a few steps away. This was our fourth visit to Little Gables and we are already booked to return!

The property was 5*.

Beautifully and tastefully decorated and set in lovely gardens. It's within an easy stroll of all shops and restaurants and although on the high street it's at the quieter end of Broadway and so is peaceful. We wanted for nothing. We stayed during the recent heatwave and the Cotswold stone cottage was lovely and cool and had a lovely patio area to enjoy the evening sun. The private car parking for 3 cars proved very useful as friends visited for the day during our break. As Broadway is such a popular location which sometimes makes parking difficult, this proved to be a definitel bonus. Karl the owner text several times during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had no problems. Karl is also 5*. He is a great owner/host. Lucky Karl to own such a beautiful property. We will definitely be back and can't recommend the property highly enough.

We made our second visit to Little Gables recently and were so pleased that everything was as pleasant and comfortable as it had been on our previous visit.

We were even more delighted that the sun came out and we were able to enjoy the outdoor seating in the lovely garden.

Little Gables - what a wonderful archetypal Cotswold house oozing history, atmosphere, warmth and comfort, we couldn't have had a better stay in very special Broadway village.

Even stepping onto the well tended car park with beautifully laid walls gave us a hint of what was to unfold when we entered the beautiful secret garden through the old wooden door - the magical wisteria clad home beckoned us to quickly cross it's threshold, head for the large and friendly kitchen, embrace the Aga, pop the kettle on for a much needed cup of tea whilst we explored our home from home for 3 days. Bliss! Thank you so much Karl for entrusting us with your very special house, we are blessed to have stayed there and would dearly love to return one day.

Little Gables in Broadway, Cotswolds, was the most perfect Holiday rental we have ever experienced.

Karl, the owner and Host, was incredibly helpful, informative and quick to respond. The home is gorgeous, a tastefully appointed Grade II listed building with rooms for a big family, and large, impressive gardens to enjoy. It has every convenience, and at the same time has all the historical details that make it a charming and stately house. I cannot recommend Sykes Cottages, Karl, and Little Gables enough.

This is a very special property which we would highly recommend to other travellers.

We had a really enjoyable stay and were lucky enough with the weather to be able to enjoy breakfasts in the stunning garden. We have already made another booking for winter 2026.

The house is beautiful and it has a wonderful location. It has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay in this beautiful village.We had a fantastic week of weather and so could really appreciate the stunning gardens while we had coffee/ breakfast. Little Gables is a wonderful Cotswold house with so much history and class.

Luckily for us we had fabulous sunshine, so were able to enjoy a few cream teas enjoying the beautiful garden. Broadway is such a lovely place to stay and visit. Karl, the owner, texted a few times to make sure everything Tickety- Boo Thank you Karl.

We stayed at Little Gables over the Christmas period in 2024.

We can honestly say that even though we have travelled to many places in the world, and stayed in very nice accommodation, Little Gables is the best we have ever experienced. The property is wonderful and central in the Broadway village and is so well prepared and provisioned for guests. Karl is an excellent host and is easily contactable should you need assistance at the property. We were very sad to leave after our stay and have vowed to come back and experience Little Gables in Spring or Autumn.

We spent a wonderful long weekend (except for the weather!

) at Little Gables which is now an annual tradition for the 6 of us - my husband & I and 2 other couples. It has become a home from home with leisurely breakfasts around the kitchen table & cosying up around the log fire. We love we can park up & walk everywhere & this year we took a taxi to MO at Dormy House to celebrate one of our friends 60th birthday. Have already booked for 2025!

Have stayed in many places in Broadway over the last 15 years but this is by far the best property.

The location is perfect, the property is stunning and well equipped. The owner has paid attention to detail and every room has character. The focal point for us was the kitchen as we spent a lot of time at the large dining table socialising. The owner was quick to answer queries we had regarding the AGA cooker. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 1 child and there was more than enough room for us all. I can highly recommend this property and owner.

Wonderful cottage in a wonderful location.

We had a lovely stay at Little Gables.

It’s a beautiful property in a fantastic location. Karl was very helpful and stayed in contact during our stay. We were disappointed to find scaffolding around the side of the property upon arrival, this did spoil the look and feel of the property whilst we stayed there. We also found the bed linen synthetic and hot. But aside from the above we had a great time and we would be very happy to return. Thank you.

The house is lovely, with everything you need for a break away from home. It is very comfortable. The location is perfect for shops, pubs, coffee shops and the activity park. We have already booked to return in the Spring!

The property was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable and the garden was beautiful. Our family, two grandparents, parents and an active two year old had a most enjoyable holiday. Many thanks to the owner Karl who kept in regular contact to ensure that we had everything we needed.

Little Gables is a lovely well appointed cottage ideal for a family group which we have used on a number of occasions and never been disappointed.

It’s location is only a very short walk for the village centre with good shops and eateries etc. Car parking at the rear is excellent and the children’s park only a couple of minutes walk away ensures the young ones use up plenty of energy! An excellent choice and the owner ensures that any issues,which are very rare,are dealt with very effectively.

Unique cottage in a good location, with private parking.

Easy access to pubs and shops within Broadway and a good base for visiting other villages in the Cotswolds. The cottage itself was very well equipped and felt like Avery unique place to stay. The back garden was beautiful and an oasis of calm - we spent a lot of time there!

The wow factor was very high when we entered the garden through the gate in the wall.

A real dream. The house itself is beautiful and decorated with so much attention to detail. You can't get enough of it. The beds are very comfortable and then the AGA. An absolute dream for a cook. We really enjoyed our time in Little Gables and will miss it very much. The landlord Karl took great care of us and was always available to us. ittle Gables is a beautiful property in a beautiful place.

As a frequent cottage renter I am often a little anxious about what I will find - but this house was a lovely surprise. It was not just as good as I hoped it would be - it was better. I thoroughly fell in love with it and I told the owner Karl this each time I spoke to him. He was totally fabulous and always available for any and all enquiries. My main concern is always cleanliness and it met my standards - which isn’t easy! I wanted to rebook again before I’d even left the property.

Little Gables is your quintessential perfect Cotswold cottage, built out of Cotswold stone with wooden beams and stone floors everywhere.

Given its many original features, such as leaded lights and stone mullion windows with thick stone walls, it is surprisingly warm, particularly with the Aga in the kitchen that is great to come down to in the morning. Karl has done a fantastic job with the tasteful decoration and furnishing, all in keeping with this property and throughout our stay he made himself available should we need to contact him, which we didn’t. If you want to experience living in a true historical Cotswold cottage, with everything you need for that little bit of luxury thrown in, then Little Gables would be hard to beat. We had a fantastic time in Broadway and can’t wait to plan our next return.

A fabulous place in the heart of Broadway.

Perfect location for exploring the picturesque countryside. The cottage is beautifully appointed, spacious and cosy, it had everything we needed for a fantastic family Christmas break. Karl, the owner, was very welcoming.

Yet again a wonderful stay in this beautiful well presented home.

As soon as you walk in it’s like being greeted with a huge hug. It’s in a wonderful position in the village, with everything you need on your doorstep. The walk through the garden with the stag is magical as you enter and leave, beautiful garden.

A stunning warm & cosy cottage.

The garden is beautifully maintained and we loved the Stag. Made extra special by being able to walk out straight on to the high street full of lovely shops cafes & pubs. We was lucky to be there for the Christmas lights switch on and there were some trees outside the cottage lit up. The issue we had with the stairgate was promptly rectified by Karl. He’s a very caring owner. We will definitely return to Little Gables.

Fantastic location and a place with great character.

A truly stunning property in a perfect location.

Having all the original character of a listed property and with its quirky features, this cottage is charming. With comfortable furnishings, a well-equipped kitchen and everything else we needed being provided our time here was relaxed and memorable. The spectacular garden is a place we spent many hours during our summer stay and is a truly special place to absorb the ambience and unique atmosphere surrounding the cottage. Thankyou to the owner Karl for taking the time to make sure we had a great stay in his property. Indeed, this was our 3rd stay at Little Gables and we can honestly say, every time has been great. We will certainly be back!

A lovely property and very well equipped.

First time using an Aga but it was quite easy. Location was great. The garden is really nice and decent garden furniture which is not always the case. The only recommendation I would make is that the kitchen bin is a bit small and one ends up using more black bags (not great for the environment). Maybe a free standing one somewhere?

Beautiful cottage & garden.

Beds very comfortable. Great location - handy for all the pubs/restaurants/shops. It’s a 30 minute stroll up to Broadway Tower (with good cafes) which is worth a visit. Would be lovely to visit again.

Wow what can I say about this beautiful house.

Three generations stayed at Little Gables for a week, everything was perfect, we wanted for nothing. Everything you needed was provided. Ideal place to stay for exploring all the villages around Broadway. The garden is wonderful a fabulous cottage garden always something to look at while sitting on the patio area, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the sun. Lots of lovely places to eat in Broadway or stay in and enjoy cooking in a fabulous kitchen. We would highly recommend a stay at little Gables best place in the centre of the village. Karl was very friendly and kept in touch by text if you needed anything. This is the 5th holiday home we have booked through Sykes cottages in different parts of the country and have not been disappointed with any of them, always been as advertised. Excellent service. Can't wait to return to Little Gables

Little Gables was everything that the online brochure promised.

It is historically characterful, very well appointed, cosy for the whole of a wet, windy, winter week and easily spacious enough for us 6 adults. The kitchen / dining room was the centre of our household with the Aga keeping us toasty warm. It is very easy to cook on as it's automatically kept up to cooking heat all the time. We cooked dinners for the entire Christmas week including Christmas dinner very easily. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Bathrooms are lovely with acres of hot water. It was our perfect home from home. Xmas decorations were much appreciated.

Thankyou for a wonderful 4 night stay at Little Gables.

We are a group of 6 best friends celebrating a birthday and early Christmas day, complete with gifts and full turkey roast dinner cooked on the wonderful Aga. We were in the heart of the village of Broadway, moments away from the famous Christmas market, so we took full advantage of all the friendly local shops and restaurants. We also visited the Sudeley Castle Christmas lights extravaganza. Both definitely did not disappoint Our gratitude also extends to the very approachable owner Karl, who was very helpful in getting the cottage beautifully and tastefully decorated for us before we arrived. The bedrooms are all delightful and comfortable beds. The lounge is very cosy, especially with the wonderful log burner in full swing. The dinning room was a perfect retreat where we spent time eating, drinking and talking, away from the kitchen. A special mention must go to the gardener here! The garden is pristine and beautiful, as is the Cottage and village. We honestly wanted for nothing during our stay and we will cherish memories made in this beautiful cottage for ever. Stayed at Little Gables many times and it never disappoints.

Karl is an excellent host who’s priority it is making your stay the most enjoyable and sharing this lovely property so you can enjoy all it has to offer. Broadway is our favourite Cotswold village as there something for everyone - high end dining to traditional country pubs and lovely independent shops, all in a beautiful setting.

Our stay at Little Gables was a really enjoyable one, for a short break it couldn't have been in a better location.

As there were 6 of us we had plenty of room to enjoy this lovely cottage and beautiful garden.Karl the owner was very helpful throughout our time there. We were greeted warmly by Phil who happened to be there mending the shower when we arrived. He and his wife made us feel very welcome. A much appreciated recommendation for Hunters Tea Room, we had gorgeous breakfasts every day.We all agreed that we would definitely go back to stay in the future.

The property was very well equipped.

We would have liked a power shower, and the kitchen cupboards were rather old and worn. Spiders and other insects were often seen which I suppose would be expected due to the age of the house. There was no draining holder for plates and cups. Cooking on the Aga was difficult. Hope that this feedback is taken as constructive and useful.

Karl (the owner) was very helpful and answered all our queries. The house was clean and very comfortable. Also there’s a really nice park literally 2mins away from the cottage so it’s a great place for a family trip. Would definitely go back to Little Gables again!

The minute I set eyes on your property online I instantly fell in love and the minute I opened that gate it certainly did not disappoint.

My dream home! Thank you for such an incredible home to spend our weekend away in. It gave me butterflies and a warm homely feel instantly. From walks around Broadway village, to a trip to Bourton on the Water to a hike up to Broadway Tower, every minute we adored. We will certainly be back! So a huge thank you Karl once again.

If you are looking to stay in Broadway in a classic period Cotswold property, perfectly located, with a fantastic south facing private garden Little Gables will not disappoint.

We have just returned from a week's holiday in the beautiful village of Broadway and stayed in the most amazing historical house, Little Gables.

Booking was easy and the owner, Karl, made sure everything was perfect and in order for us by way of text messaging before and during our stay. The house is a Listed Building and has been restored totally in sympathy with the original features, with no expense spared. The well-tended garden area is superb and at the time of our visit in February, the first signs of Springtime was visible. Beyond the garden is a large private car park area with good access and more than enough room for our two large vehicles to manoeuvre and enter and exit in forward gear. We are a three generation family of grandparents, children and grandchildren, totalling six. We first came across Little Gables around eight/nine years ago and, the Covid year apart, we keep revisiting. The accommodation is split internally with two staircases, one from the large hall and the other from the very practical and impressive kitchen dining room. This arrangements suits our party perfectly as we, the grandparents, use the staircase from the kitchen to our bedroom and separate bathroom. Our family thank Karl for letting us share this lovely house and send him our very best wishes.
