Old Town Cottage

The property was perfect The welcome package was excellent and gave us a great start to our holiday.

We had everything we needed to a well equipped kitchen - nice bathroom - very comfortable bedroom and lounge - lovely courtyard and easy off road parking All in all exvellent

The property was a in a good location short stroll into town and some lovely walks for Henry our dachshund, the owners of the cottage whom we had the pleasure of meeting, went above and beyond with a welcome pack for us on our arrival even thought of Henry plenty of treats for him and 2 balls for him to play with, would like to give them a big thank-you for their kindness.

Such a lovely cottage, fully equipped with everything you need and more.

Great location, lovely walks to town, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. Garden is perfect to sit in for breakfast, lunch or even (we were exceptionally lucky with weather) A lovely welcome pack when we arrived was much appreciated. Would totally recommend this cottage.

Great location to get around Stratford on foot, about 15 minute walk to town.

The housewas lovely and comfortable, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, parking great. The welcome provisions were a lovely touch and the much needed bottle of proseco to sit back and relax. Much appreciated and thankyou. The garden was amazing and just what we needed for the red hot weather we had. We couldnt fault this house and the owners should be so proud to rent this beautiful property. Hope to visit again in the future.

Great cottage in a good location with easy access to central Stratford upon Avon on foot.

Lots of easy walks nearby for you and the dog! It has a lovely garden, which was appreciated. There is some noise from the busy road nearby, but outside rush hour there was not much noise. Great facilities in the cottage and lovely touches to make us and our dog feel very welcome.

Old town cottage was perfect in every way, great facilities and especially the wonderful outdoor space which we used every evening in the great weather.

Would definitely return.

The accommodation was top notch, very clean.

The area was outstanding no need for a car.The Town was within walking distance a beautiful walk along the river full of wild life and historical buildings. The Owner was very helpful and welcoming. I would totally recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone.

The property was much bigger than expected and beautiful presented.

Easy to find and great having parking so near to the town. Thanks for the very generous welcome pack. We enjoyed eating out in the garden which felt like we were in a botanical garden. Bed was comfortable and great having the luxury of a dressing room. Kitchen was well equipped and was able to enjoy several home cooked meals. Location was very convenient for Stratford which can be reached either by walking through streets or along the river. Many places to eat and drink. If you like real ale the Stratford Alehouse is a good place where we got a warm welcome. We visited lots of National Trust places which were easy to get to through some lovely countryside. Would highly recommend this place. Hope to stay again next year. Lastly enjoyed the jigsaw puzzles which were quality and challenging.

Very comfortable and nicely presented. Plenty of storage, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Lots of helpful information available to allow use of the facilities in the cottage. Great to have our own parking space which is rare in Stratford rentals. Very pretty garden. Easy 15 minutes walk into centre of Stratford.

What a wonderful place to stay.

The first impressions were excellent, and persisted through our delightful stay. A brilliantly comfortable base to explore Stratford-upon-Avon on foot. Very much appreciated all the little touches and treats - most so the pint of milk in the fridge. The coffee percolator was very cute, and made lovely coffee. We honestly could not fault this place one bit. It's a real credit to the people who own and run the place and the cleaners who keep the place spotless. We enjoyed a couple of plays while we were here and some National Trust properties, and also went to Jeremy Clarkson's "Farm-fest"! There's been a heat wave this last week with temps breaking 30°C+ so the weather was amazing too!!

Old Town Cottage is a lovely property, conveniently situated a short distance from the centre of town.

Was impressed by the welcoming basket of goodies, a very generous selection of treats. I was also pleased with the range of conveniences on offer, but was disappointed that the washing machine did not include a dryer. As I booked in for a week, (and do not have a car), i was limited in the amount of clothes I could pack. Thus I needed to do some laundry, and unfortunately the weather was not great for drying outside. My main grouch however concerned the cleanliness of the property overall. The underside of the toilet seat for instance was not properly cleaned, the throws in the living room smelt a little of dogs, and i thought that both the fridge and the dishwasher could benefit from a thorough deep clean. The latter in particular smelling rather gross. But on the whole I enjoyed my stay, and would consider returning.

A delightful property, very good welcome pack with simple supplies, tea coffee sauces oil vinegar bottled water and a small bottle of bubbly!

Beautiful small garden which we made full use of, very private. Comfortable bed with option of different weight duvets and good quality bedding in all couldn’t fault it. I have now become addicted to jigsaw puzzles, some fab ones in the box under the TV! The easy and very lovely walk in to Stratford just made it the perfect holiday destination, would absolutely recommend.

A very well maintained property, ideal for two.

It was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The lovely secluded courtyard garden was a bonus. The very generous welcome pack was much appreciated, thank you. The cottage is in a very quiet residential area and affords an easy and very pleasant walk along the river to the centre of town where there is so much to see and do. Highly recommended, we would most certainly go there again.

Walked to Shottery easily and really enjoyed walk into Stratford-upon-Avon. Property decorated & equipped with a tremendous amount of thought. Very generous welcome hamper, again put together with a lot of thought.

.what can l say wow. Lovely clean well presented property. Everything you could need home from home. So thoughtful the welcome packs not only for us but for the dog to. There is plenty to do, see, eat, drink. The property is near to the greenaway great walk with dog. You can also walk across the the race course on non race day great for the dog have a safe run. We are from SOA and own a property nearby, so we know the area. Well, it was just like being home. We certainly will use again when we come again. But for now we are back enjoying the west coastal side of the lake district. You have done yourselves proud in this property. Thank you .

Had a lovely stay in old town mews for a week at the end of November.

It’s in a great location, not far to walk into Stratford, and plenty of green space nearby if you have a dog. The house is comfortable, and has everything you need. The outside space is lovely and well maintained. The only negative for me would be the lack of a sofa, or comfy easy chair - but thats personal preference - on the whole a lovely home, in a great location.

Excellent accommodation.

Everything you could need is there. Nice garden to sit out as sun all day long. Close to town and Greenway. Very enjoyable stay.

a table would have been nice inside we were lucky with the weather we could eat all meals outside we spent 2 hours looking for the house due to the wrong post code on the net even the police could not help the phone did not answer for 2 hours house was fine locals great

We had a really wonderful week in this lovely, clean, well appointed cottage.

Very comfy chairs & footstools in the lounge. There was everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need, with quality cutlery/crockery etc.& a lovely welcome tray. The bedding & towels, were beautiful, all top quality. A nice bedroom, overlooking the garden with a very comfortable bed & separate spacious dressing room. A beautiful bathroom & shower. A lovely quiet, well looked after garden, with new garden furniture for dining outdoors, & dappled shade if needed. It was a quiet area, with a short cut through walk to the river Avon & Stratford town centre. Lovely walks along the river, lots to see & do. Parking on the driveway. This is the nicest self catering holiday accommodation we have ever had, a very pleasant surprise. If we could give this cottage higher than 10 we would. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Sandra

I really enjoyed my week. The property has been refurbished and is well equipped. Stratford is great, so much to see and do. Old Town Cottage is an ideal base to enjoy all that it has to offer. Highly recommended

Great location, within easy walking distance of centre,great having parking.

Strange setup with tv, couldn't just move from channel to channel, had to keep changing from iplayer to itvx etc. Recliners kept moving round on wooden floors, maybe place carpet underneath them. Shower water pressure not very good.
