What guests are saying
Unfortunately the internet access wasn’t working in the first property and on the second day the boiler failed and we had no hot water.
When we called the office on Monday, the response was positive and we were moved to the property next door. Great customer service.
The positives.
The cottage was in a fabulous location. It was warm and ‘generally clean’. However, it does not warrant the star rating you quote so you are misrepresenting its quality. There are two large areas where plaster is come off the wall in the lounge. The fridge shelves are broken and the fridge has engrained encrusted dirt on the broken shelves. Pedal bin is broken. Washing machine has mould on seal. Dishwasher smelly and needs rinse aid. Dirty saucepan found with st yuck on food . General downstairs furniture is very shabby. Regret to have to write this as it could be Lovely Cottage. One of worst things snout every thing I have mentioned, is that on checking back reviews… all of the above mentioned was on reviews a year ago. So basically, guests have complained and no changes have been made . We would not use this cottage again unfortunately.
The property was in a perfect location and couldn't fault our surroundings however I would not class it as dog friendly.
There were two dogs off lead, not friendly and so we did leave earlier as it made us feel uncomfortable. The shower didn't work properly and after 10 minutes the water went cold. The fridge door was broken so had no where to store the milk. There were holes in the wall where the plaster had dropped off. The furniture was tired and the cottage needs some TLC. We had a beautiful week and would definitely go back again but in a different property
