The village and local area is seeped in Neolithic history with many fascinating landmarks and places to visit.

From the village you can access the Kennet & Avon Canal, the Pewsey White Horse and many public footpaths.

Within a short distance are Stonehenge, Avebury Stone Circle, Silbury Hill and the Alton Barnes White Horse.

Nearby market towns include Marlborough and Devizes with the larger cities of Salisbury and Bath easily accessible.

Visitors can look forward to exploring the surrounding landscapes, studded with pretty and unspoilt villages to enjoy, as well as a wealth of opportunities upon the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including walking, cycling and horse riding.

Accommodation good on the whole, well equipped, light and warm.

The outside surrounding hedges are very high and in need of cutting. It would be nice to have a view from the kitchen and lounge windows as it feels very shut in. The seating area on the roof is fine in good weather and if you are able to manage the steps but otherwise views from the property are restricted. There was no physical contact with the owners next door, all issues raised were dealt by text messaging.

We were delighted with all aspects of the accomodation.

It was extremely well equipped. The space is compact with a really pleasant general living/dining/kitchen area and 2 comfortable bedrooms. My husband has very limited mobility so this suited him and he was able to move around safely. Pewsey is a charming village with all amenities.
