Court Farm

This was our 3rd visit to Court Farm.

It never disappoints. It is spacious, comfortable and clean. The 2 ground floor bedrooms and bathroom make it ideal for those, like us, bringing an elderly relative with them. We enjoy the peaceful location and it also makes a good base for exploring the local area.

We were three ladies staying here and we absolutely loved every moment.

The cottage was perfect — set in a stunning location and beautifully kept. We had everything we could possibly need and more. The flowers, drinks, and fruit were such a thoughtful touch and truly appreciated. We spent hours enjoying the wildlife in the garden, and the whole place was spotless. A wonderful stay from start to finish.

The listing details weren’t correct in that they hadn’t included the two extra toilets in the property.

I specifically looked as it sleeps 6 people and 1 toilet didn’t seem right. Looking on the floor plan, they weren’t shown either. We also weren’t impressed with the directions to the property. The details gave road names which didn’t help as the lanes didn’t have names. Exactly where the property was situated wasn’t mentioned. Sat nav took us to the centre of a quiet village and there was no one around to ask. We didn’t have phone signal there either, although it was fine when connected to WiFi. The owners were great and the property was lovely.

It is a lovely place to stay with everything you need and more.

Lovely conservatory and seating outside in the garden over looking the local Church and fields. Sue and Dave live close by so on hand if required. They even left some extra treats that we weren't expecting. Plenty of walks from the door if that's what you want. Pub in easy walking distance up slight hill.

This is a very nice cottage it is very clean I would recommend this to anyone who would come to this area.

The kitchen is very well equipped the only downside is that I found there were no Pyrex bowls Which would be handy when cooking. Plus there were to extra bin bags that I could see. But as I said highly recommended. 10/10 as far as I'm concerned

Court farm lived up to all expectations and more.

It was very clean, comfortable, spacious, very well equipped and situated in a quiet village where bird and wild life were literally on the doorstep. The welcome pack was the best we have ever received and the amount of information provided for places of interest was very helpful. Will certainly be recommending it to all our friends!

Tis is a beautiful holiday cottage in an idyllic setting.

It is well equipped and beautifully maintained and presented . The pool table has always been appreciated by our accompanying family. Sue and Dave our hosts have always been welcoming and helpful. We've visited Court Farm 4 times now and am sure we will do so again a delightful place in which to chill.

Court Farm is an excellent holiday let.

It is very clean, cosy, comfortable and well equipped. It is more like home from home rather than holiday let. Sue and Dave live next door and so are available should any issues arise. They have put a lot of care and effort in making Court Farm such a beautiful place to stay. This was our second stay and it certainly won't be our last. In over 30 years of staying in holiday cottages this is the best.

The cleanest and best equipped property we have ever stayed in.

Very comfortable beds and some very nice beverages found in the fridge on arrival. A little difficult to find a first, I blame it on the sat nav.

We really enjoyed our second stay at Court Farm.

It's in a very good location for getting out and about. We particularly liked Bewdley. We also visited Ludlow and Worcester amongst others. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside and spotting wildlife in the garden. Court Farm is great if you are bringing elderly people with you. ie. ground floor bedrooms and bathroom. We really appreciated the welcome pack and warm welcome from Sue.

Property worked really well for our group.

We probably Self Cater more than most because of our dietary needs. Little adjustments were left on a note for the owners.

Pretty much a perfect property.

I was lucky enough to have the room with the TV built into the bed. Welcome basket was great, wine and cider was greatly appreciated. Also property came supplied with essentials pint of milk, tea, coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper. Host was lovely, we didn't interact much but she was very welcoming on arrival. Some very small pointers but I'm just nitpicking, couldn't find a sponge for washing up pans, or figure out controls for the toilet, a little bit more cutlery and a couple more big cups for tea would be nice. It wasn't a major issue for us as there was only 4 of us but for a larger group it might have been. Overall though 10/10. Great value, great property, great host.

A very homely property with very nice welcome provisions provided by the owners such as milk, fruit bowl and much appreciated drinks. This was our second stay and am sure it will not be the last, it is so comfortable and peaceful we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the conservatory watching the pheasants and other birds in the garden. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Court Farm deserves an excellent rating we had a warm welcome everything we needed was catered for. The Aga was wonderful if I had a kitchen large enough it would be top of my list of must have.

We had a brilliant week, the bungalow was very clean and comfortable with generous welcome gifts including a bowl of fruit and local cider which was a nice touch.

One thing that would have made the stay even better would be having a few extra plates and bowls as there was only six of each.

We had a fantastic, comfortable and peaceful stay at Court Farm.

It really is 5 star plus property in a pretty, tranquil location. It has every amenity you will require. The mix of modern, traditional and antique decor makes it very cosy and practical. The downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms makes it very suitable for those that don't find stairs easy. And upstairs is great for those wanting some separate space and also chill area in the games room. The warming Aga , log burner ,conservatory ,lovely garden, extremely generous welcome pack , very helpful and pleasant owners, are just very thick icing on the cake. I could go on......, but best find out your selves , you won't be disappointed. Geoff and Anna

Loved every minute of our stay, everything you could wish for in the property.

Nice surprise to see the refrigerator stocked with goodies, a large bowl of fruit as well. Lots to see and do in the area and the Live and Let Live public house a must visit. Would definitely recommend.

Our third visit to Court Farm.

It really is a wonderful property. The owners do everything they can to make the cottage as comfortable as possible. We already have a 4th visit booked.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Court Farm and wished we had booked it for longer.

Everything about it was great including the communication with Dave. Loved the conservatory, the Agar oven, the gardens, the lounge room. Plus, an easy walk to a very nice pub.

A spacious, clean and well equipped house in a beautiful part of England.

There's a lovely, peaceful garden looking across the church spire to fields. So much to do in the area and only an hour from Stratford/Warwick Castle. We will definitely return, very highly recommended.

Beautiful modern cottage with all the ground floor facilities desired, with the added bonus of tranquil gardens with constant visits of local menagerie of squirrels, woodpeckers, pheasant in full regalia and many more garden birds a constant source of entertainment.

We were met by our host who made us very welcome and we found had attended the same school as my wife. We enjoyed the lovely welcome pack Thank you Sue and Dave may see you soon

Fantastic property.

One of the best we have stayed in. Spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and idyllic views from conservatory and garden. Can’t fault it. Owners very generous with “welcome” goodies-thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Court Farm.

In our 35 + years of staying in holiday cottages Court Farm comes top of the list along with the owners Sue and Dave. They have put a lot of thought into making the cottage so comfortable and relaxing and live close by in case they are needed. The cottage is spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. On our arrival there was a vase of daffodils, a bowl of fresh fruit, milk, tea, coffee and sugar and some treats in the fridge! Court Farm is situated in a lovely setting and is very peaceful with beautiful countryside all around. Previous reviews say it all - with people returning for their 3rd and 4th visit. Everything about it is lovely and like so many before us, we will definately be returning! Thank you so much Sue and Dave for our wonderful holiday.

Excellent facilities and scrupulously clean throughout.

A welcoming selection of fruit and drink was provided as well as the usual tea, coffee etc. High end egyptian cotton sheets as an example of the attention to detail of the thought for the guests comfort..

Our third visit which says it all.

Court Farm is such a beautiful place to stay, the disabled facilities suit us perfectly and it's a true home from home. Sue and Dave are generous hosts and always on hand of needed yet never intruding on the peace and privacy this cottage provides. We'd move in yourselves it is so comfy and cosy. This time we spotted a muntjac deer in the garden as well as the myriad birds on the feeders. Thank you Sue Dave for another lovely holiday.

It is a real home from home with the plus of beautiful views, peaceful and all the comforts we need, the riser recliner and shower seat are ideal for those with mobility issues. The warmth of the Aga on cold days while you make your first cup of tea and welcoming you home after a day out is very special, only wish we had room for one. Sue and Dave are generous hosts and have a cottage to be proud of thank you.

Spotlessly clean and fully equipped house suitable for a family.

The kids loved the games room which really helped us, as parents, escape for some quiet time. The nearby pub is full of character, has great menu of home cooked high quality dishes and great atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended as a place to stay for a visit to the area.

Gorgeous house in very peaceful surroundings. Stayed for the weekend while visiting the safari park which it’s ideally located for. Hosts were accommodating and welcome and the place was spotless. Can not recommend enough what a great place this is.

This was the perfect cottage, so spotlessly clean on arrival, very comfortable beds and sofa’s and a riser recliner chair.

We spent many happy hours relaxing in the beautiful garden and enjoying the birds. The kitchen was superbly equipped and cooking on the Aga was fantastic, I’m missing it! Lots of lovely places to visit nearby and kind and generous hosts really made our stay. We loved Court farm and would definitely like to return. Thank you Sue and Dave.

We loved the cottage, so much room, so well designed we were most jealous .

. please can you sell it to us! It was amazingly clean on arrival with gifts of tea/coffee/fruit. We were grateful for the fire logs too. For a restful getaway it is ideal ..lovely old pub in village Live and Let Live. Suited our mixed age group well. Amazing kitchen heated by aga, conservatory so relaxing. Enjoyed eating together in dining room. The only niggles are: wire dropped out of TV, pool table slopes. Direction to local shops needed - lost time and petrol hunting for more supplies. A little remote and garden not for young family. Just needs hot tub that would just be a heavenly addition to the garden view. Many thanks..

It is such a spacious and comfortable accommodation with everything you can possibly need. For a holiday in February you definitely need a warm base to return to. The Aga is amazing - I wish I had one at home! There are lots of lovely places to visit in the area and the hosts are welcoming and friendly.

This was a beautiful home to stay in.

We enjoyed cooking on the aga, which also made the house so cosy and warm. Everything we needed was there. Situated in a pleasant village which was in easy reach on many places to visit.

A lovely long family weekend with two of us not up to doing too much but the cottage had so much space for us to be able to relax in the warmth and comfort so was perfect.

We enjoyed watching the birds feeding and the peace and quiet of the location. And the owners were there if we needed them. Had a lovely lunch at the local pub and an enjoyable trip to Ludlow. Highly recommended.

This was our second time staying here.

We stayed over Christmas this time. The cottage had so many Christmas decorations. It was clean and very homely. The owners are lovely and brought us logs for the fire regularly. We will definitely be looking to stay here again. Thank you!

this was a superb holiday cottage.

Comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated for Christmas. it is a very spacious cottage with quiet spaces to retreat frim energetic grandchildren if one so desired. It is in a lovely village with country rambles from the doorstep. it is certainly a cottage to which we would return. Added bonus of learning how to use the Aga. Have really missed just putting the kettle on the hob and waiting for the whistle. Tank you lovely hosts.

Had a lovely week at court farm The property is beautiful and is presented well and has everything you will need during your stay Dave and Sue are brilliant hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them and the little welcome pack on arrival was much appreciated Thanks for the refilling of the wood basket when needed as it was great sitting in front of the fire at night whilst playing scrabble or watching tv The aga was great also to cook on and didn’t take too long to get used too It was lovely to see various number of birds throughout the day feeding in the garden The cottage is situated perfectly for various days out I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone and will probably re visit at some point in the future

This is a well equipped and spacious cottage, with substantially sized rooms and good storage space.

It has a large conservatory which has a good view of the garden and church close by. A big attraction is birdwatching. Numerous birds came to the feeding station including greater spotted woodpeckers and nuthatches. There are also red kytes in the local area and a kingfisher on the river down the lane. The village of Neen Sollars is idyllic and is with a pub, the interior of which, is totally unique. The church interior is also fascinating. If you like comfort in peaceful surroundings with an abundance of wildlife and good architecture then this has it all.

What a beautiful property and everything you could need.

Dave and Sue were very helpful and friendly. The facilities are excellent and we particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden watching the host of bird visitors, particularly the woodpecker who visited most days. Would visit again in a heartbeat

The local pub was friendly and served good food. The standard of the accommodation was fantastic, lots of attention to detail. We felt very comfortable, relaxed and at home. The owners are chatty and friendly. We visited lots of interesting towns Tenbury, Bewdley, Ludlow & Leominster

From the moment we arrived at Court Farm, Dave & Sue were exceptional hosts.

The house was spotless and very comfortable, in a quiet, peaceful & beautiful setting, the garden is wonderful with a variety of birds visiting daily. We have had a difficult year as most people & we had a restorative & relaxing few days. Dave & Sue have the rare ability to convey that they were there if you needed them, very friendly but also gave us space. The house is fitted with everything you would need & to a very high standard.

Court Farm is a great holiday base for visiting Shropshire and Herefordshire.

There is ample space for everyone, comfy beds and a thoughtful supply of welcome goodies. Our only recommendation would be to provide a wardrobe in the upstairs bedroom and although there are plenty of toilets an additional shower or bathroom on the second floor would be very useful. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Our hosts were very friendly and kind, helping us out when we had car problems and suggesting local walks of which there are many.

The house is without doubt the best holiday rental we have stayed in.

We loved the cottage in every way - cleanliness, comfort, furnishings, garden, view, village, friendly & helpful hosts - and the peace!

There were only two of us, but a larger group might struggle with only one bathroom/shower. Plenty of WCs though!

A real gem in Shropshire.

A wardrobe in the upstairs room would be an advantage.

Although there was an over door hanger you could not shut the door with it on and it rattles when opening. Extra cups/mugs for tea/coffee. We had to wash them after every use as there were 5 of us. The house is really lovely and these are just small observations. The owners were lovely and very helpful. We had a very comfortable stay and slept really well.

The weather was on our side for a change.

The view from the house was spectacular fantastic holiday would recommend for those who like to listen to the birds sing all day. Very quiet....down side of the property needs a wardrobe in the upstairs bedroom and maybe a second bathroom. Yes very very nice

Quiet and peaceful cottage in beautiful surroundings.

Sat navy found the cottage through the winding country lanes.Everywhere clean and spotless.Plenty of room for family of 4 .Excellent WiFi keeping teenager happy upstairs in the games room ! Downstairs spacious,and for elderly parents folding shower seat and riser/ recliner chair very handy.Lounge comfortable and cosy with the wood burner,conservatory warm in the sunshine ,with delightful views across the countryside and the visiting birds.Everything you need in the kitchen,and cooking on the Aga was a new experience , choice of table in kitchen and separate dining room.Beds comfortable and wonderful starry skies at night. Local londis and co-op 2 miles away and beautiful walks.Would have stayed longer but unsurprisingly the cottage was booked again ! Highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay just before Christmas.

The house was beautifully decorated and even a Christmas tree had been put up in the living room! The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen is kept warm by the AGA. Firewood was provided (and restocked) for the wood burner which once lit makes the living room very cosy. The internet connection was super fast which mean we could work easily. I imagine this house would also be a great place to stay in summer with a garden and good sized conservatory. Lastly the hosts were very welcoming and were available to help us with any questions that we had. Overall 10/10.

Court Farm is such a lovely place to stay!

It has to be one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in. It is really spacious, clean and warm. The beds are very comfortable (we often have had problems staying in accommodation with uncomfortable beds). There are beautiful views of the surrounding area and a lovely garden visited by a woodpecker. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and nearby if needed. Nice forests to visit for walks and a beautiful part of the country.

A lovely holiday cottage, exceptionally clean and warm with plenty of space for our family.

Owners were fantastic and made us feel relaxed and welcome. The cottage was very peaceful at night thanks to its rural location, but only a short drive to the local town which has plenty of shops and dining options, and the local pub is only a half mile walk from the cottage and well worth a visit. If you are looking for a great place to stay in South Shropshire we would definitely recommend Court cottage.

Home from home

You were no help at all when I had to cancel the first booking due to the shut down.

When I insured with you against cancellation I expected you to deal with any problems. In fact when I contacted you I was told to sort it out myself and given the wrong telephone number to contact the insurers. I had such a problem trying to find the right firm to contact that I gave up in the end. Court Farm was brilliant, both the cottage and Mr and Mrs Moss. It's very difficult to find - like most instructions written by those who know the area it's clear to them but not necessarily to new comers but it's worth it once you get to it (even if you did have to stop a tractor to find where you had gone wrong!

Lovely place to stay, very comfortable with lots of "mod cons" probably one of the best equipped kitchens I've used on holiday (which came in handy during the pandemic).

A great place to stay and go exploring central England.

We had a fabulous week at Court farm cottage it was one of the best properties we have been in,it’was very big and there was everything you would need to enjoy a lovely peaceful holiday,beautiful views and a lot of good walks from the doorstep,the owners were very nice and helpful
