A lovely place to stay.

The house is done to a very high standard.Very well situated for visiting places. A short walk to all the shops, pubs , and cafe's. Would highly recommend.

A lovely property quietly tucked away, just a short walk from the centre of Barnard Castle.

Clean and beautifully decorated. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. A good shower too.

Lovely cottage well placed for walking into Barnard Castle town centre.

Had everything we needed including catering for our dog. Was a pleasure to return to after a long day walking and visiting local attractions. Only thing missing was a visitors book so we could leave a message about our stay.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation & the location.

We would definitely recommend it to family & friends.

This was a last minute booking and could not have been more perfect.

Lovely accommodation, wonderfully clean with every amenity you could want and more. Location was an easy walk to the high street for shopping, eating and drinking.

The cottage is well equipped and very clean.

It is situated a 15 minute walk from the town centre and has dedicated parking within a quiet cul de sac development. The owners have provided everything you need to make you feel welcome and are close by to help with any issues, (though there weren't any).

Kyles Yard is a lovely cottage which was spacious, comfortable and well equiped with everything needed for the weeks stay with some extra touches of flowers and welcome pack.

Interaction with owners was easy by txt or phone and Caroline gave us some good local information. Parking space was a bonus and location to be able to walk into town was great. Would definately book again if back in the area.

The property was well positioned to get to the town.

The cottage was really nice and clean , the only thing that we found that there was a musty smell of dog's but being allowed pets we really can't have cause to complain. All in all a really nice property.

The owners have provided lots of extras that you might have forgotten to take with you. Great to have 2 parking spaces. Just a 10 minute walk down to the town centre.

Kyle’s yard is a very clean and well presented bolt hole, with a well stocked kitchen and handy off road parking. Just 15 minutes or so walk to Barnard Castle centre. We found the property met our needs and was good value. The hosts were also helpful and friendly. Highly recommended from the Gould family.

The best I have ever stayed in!

Lovely flowers on the table to greet us, my favourite. Beautifully, stylishly decorated, lovely calm colours and fabrics and a refreshing lack of nicks-knacks and bad paintings! Very kind welcome pack, tea, coffee etc. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped. It could not have been bettered , FIVE STAR!

We had a really comfortable stay in the cottage with our kids and two dogs.

The cottage is pretty, immaculately clean, conveniently located, and VERY practical in design and layout. Every eventuality was catered for (including spare toiletries under the bathroom sink and treats for the dogs!). We very much appreciated the attention to detail.

The cottage is spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. We have even purchased the mattress we slept on as have never slept so well! Safe off road parking a bonus too. Ideally located for visiting the area. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Lovely property in a great location with secure parking.

Walking distance from town and the woods for dog walks. Beautifully clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a weekend away. Excellent size for a family of 4 and more spacious than expected. 100% would recommend and would definitely stay again.
