A perfect weekend break to celebrate my birthday.

The Stackyard is truly beautiful and very well appointed. There were three generations of us and the property suited us all, especially for our grandson and randomly with fully enclosed back garden. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in and feeding the alpacas was a big hit. The location was perfect for us and we'll definitely be back.

Beautiful spacious accommodation with excellent facilities that we made full use of - breakfast al fresco whilst watching the alpacas and chickens in the field opposite, evenings around the fire pit, time spent in the hot tub and dining in was made very easy as the kitchen was so well equipped.

Location was perfect - peaceful and relaxing yet just 15 minutes from Durham city centre. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The Stackyard was an amazing place to stay and the hosts were very welcoming.

It is in a lovely, quiet setting but within easy reach of Durham and Newcastle. We would recommend it to families as there is lots of space inside and outside as well as being very safe with an enclosed garden and no traffic. We will definitely be returning.
