Description
A lovely, traditional terraced cottage, located opposite the harbour in the quaint village of Roundstone, County Galway.
Set over three floors, this Roundstone cottage provides comfortable accommodation, perfect for friends and family looking to discover this beautiful part of Ireland.
Complete with a spacious first floor open plan living area, this Roundstone cottage also features a roaring open fire ideal for relaxing in front of whilst watching the fishermen bringing in the day's catch to the pretty harbour.
This County Galway cottage is an excellent base for touring all this spectacular region has to offer.
Join the locals for a pint of the black stuff in one of the local pubs and sample traditional Irish music at its best, or take a trip to the market town of Clifden with its bustling shops and restaurants.
Walkers and hikers will adore the routes through the stunning Connemara National Park, with the Twelve Pins mountain range a particular highlight.
From your County Galway cottage you can also try your hand at scuba diving, deep-sea fishing or horse riding, or take a boat trip to Inishboffin Island.
The Aran Islands are also within easy reach, as is the cosmopolitan city of Galway.
For those who prefer a slower pace of life, the miles of unspoilt coastline won't fail to enchant and inspire; within driving distance are Gurteen and Dog's Bay beaches, and further afield is Ballyconneely beach.
A terrific Roundstone cottage in a superb location that you will want to return to again and again.

What guests are saying
Perfect location, our 4th stay in this property.
The property has everything you need. A little tired (cooker/ kitchen blind) in some areas but that didn’t affect our stay. There is no WiFi but 4G good so not an issue for us. TV reception is poor, the only channel that didn’t pixelate, if you could get it was RTE news. Again not an issue for us. The view is stunnng, beds comfortable and shower rooms good. 5 min walk to the pub. All in all this property is great value for money compared to the price of other properties in Roundstone.
Really lovely place to stay.
With a great view of the Twelve Bens in the morning. Couldn't find any fault. Clean and accessible. Would highly recomend.
Quayside is in a fantastic location, views from the property are amazing.
Would highly recommend and will definitely book again. Thanks to Sean & Catherine for a lovely stay.
