What guests are saying
The most peaceful country cottage I've stayed in.
You approach along a winding, tree lined avenue. The cottage is cocooned by a large forest of native Irish trees. Inside everything is spotless. Equipped with quality appliances and comfortable beds. Interesting items showing the cottage's previous life are on display. The owners, Maria and John live close by and are available if needed and are a delight to talk to. Their sheepdog, Nero, is really friendly, loves chasing sticks and has the kindest eyes.
Wonderful hospitality from our hosts, we were even given a tour of the farm/forest , we could not have been made more welcome .
They also kindly provided welcome food gifts of local produce The cottage is in a nice setting secluded, quite and roses around the door. Generally well maintained, warm ,adequately equipped for all needs and comfortable You may find the water flow into the kitchen a little low, but this does not distract from the joy of the cottage Even the owners dog is friendly. We hope to return in days ahead
Lovely peaceful place to stay , kids loved it, John and his wife were very helpful, great week
