Arrived in the rain, typical, and located the keys.

both keys look the same. Would be helpful if 1 had a tag to denote front or back door. On entering it looked like another Seanachai property we had rented. Fridge was lovely and clean. Hob rings falling to bits. Dishwasher still full of crockery and cutlery. Lounge good. Downstairs bedroom good. Downstairs bathroom appalling. Broken shower door replaced with curtain. Shower controls dripping with what looked liked blue oil. Shower tray dirty. Towels and tea towels appalling, I have thrown better ones away. Upstairs lovely. Electric shower looked clean. We unblocked the bathroom drain outside as water overflowing.

The cottage was fine, and dog friendly, but "tired".

One of the tea towels was literally threadbare, and one of the showers was in poor condition (unable to adjust shower head height). The listing didn't clearly state that the adjacent pub /restaurant had been closed for 3 years. Or list the very handy bus stop at the pub. But overall it was a decent holiday home, and we would go back.
