Fantastic location in curracloe.

Quiet street and short stroll to pub/shop. 5 minute drive to excellent sandy dog friendly beach with coffee shop, changing facilities, surf school. House was cosy with everything you need to cook - warm and welcoming to come home to every evening. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely base to explore Wexford. Only 10mins to Wexford town with large supermarkets.

We had a very pleasant week at 19 River Glen.

The house is very well appointed with all the usual amenities and the owner was most helpful with any inquiries we had, while totally respecting our privacy. There is a well stocked Centra shop within a few minutes walking distance, which we appreciated and Curracloe beach likewise. Wexford town is within easy driving distance.

We had a lovely time at number 19.

We will definitely be back again.

Such a great find, we have family in the area so visit regularly and this is by far the best property we have stayed in, the host is quick to respond to any queries we had.

Beautiful house very clean the beds are comfortable lovely sized kitchen nice back garden to relax in the evenings.

My family and I had a great time staying in your home. Thank you for facilitating our holiday, Mr Mark! He addressed our questions very promptly. The location of the house is very good - close to the incredibly beautiful beach where we walked. Also, it was convenient to drive to the south of the country. Of the nuances that are worth knowing: heating and hot water are on a schedule. and not always hot water is available all the time - you need to adjust it for yourself There was no hairdryer, but it was not a problem - we had our own. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable for us. The peace and quiet added to the mood for a relaxing stay at home. My family and I would love to come back to this house again! Thank you for everything!

A lovely home with really good facilities, comfortable, clean, bright, great comfortable beds.

Outside looks great, would be lovely to be in if later in the year to partake in barbecues. I would suggest putting Mirrors into the Bedrooms for the ladies to put on their make up. Would recommend replacing the Armchairs for a more comfortable and restful sitting. Would also recommend more TV channels, very limited choice that one would expect. Overall a great venue to spend some holiday time. Close to Wexford town and all the wonderful beaches and villages.

We absolutely loved our stay in 19 River Glen.

It is such a lovely, well situated house, and has a wonderful modern heating system also. The house is just a 5 minute walk from Hotel Curracloe which serves wonderful food at reasonable prices. The house is just a 10 minute drive from the magnificent sandy Curracloe beach and it's a 10 minute drive to the nature reserve which has a lovely 7km looped walk, which we did daily. Wexford Town is about 5 miles away and it is a beautiful town with lots of independent retailers and lovely restaurants which we sampled!. We have decided to return to 19 River Glen next summer as we enjoyed our holiday so much there!. Thanks to Mark, the owner and Sykes for the booking!. Cheers.Anne.

I stayed in this house in autumn 2022 and came back in autumn 2023, so it must be good else I would not have returned!

Immaculately clean home from home, great base for Wexford Town, beaches and treks and trails.

3 minutes walk to hotel, which does great food, 5 minutes walks to pub and grocery store. Large enclosed back garden, great for eating out in the good weather, and our dog had plenty of space to play and rest. Host provided excellent pre-arrival information and was contactable during our stay for any any further queries. If it was possible to provide 20/10 we would. Many thanks.

The house is in an ideal location, walking distance to local shop, post office, take away, hotel which does good food.

Its within 5 min drive to beach. It was ideal for my family with very young kids, large back garden, plenty of room for a dog. The house was very clean and had everything you would need for self catering. Host was in contact prior to arrival to arrange key collection and during stay. We had a great week in Wexford!

Host was very informative prior to arrival and checked to see when we arrived was everything ok. Would highly recommend this property. Garden to rear is ideal for small children and a dog too.

Great location.

Across the road from Curracloe Hotel, 5min walk to village and 5-10min drive to beach. Spacious back garden which is great if you have a dog. Safe to let her roam around on her own. However we came across some issues with ceanliness. On arrival, dirty cups were found in the press and press with food wasnt wiped out, food left there from previous guests. Table cloth not wiped down, crumbs all over it. Unsanitary products left behind in bathroom and enuite from previous guests - razors, face cloths, loofah. The table and chairs outside were absolutely filthy. We spent about 1hr cleaning them before we could sit outside. House is outdated. Could do with a bit of refurbishment. Window blinds not great for keeping light out and window on landing has no blind.Very bright at 4/5am - very hard to sleep with light coming in. We had to put up black sacks to try make it darker. Overall we enjoyed our stay due to its central location, but in terms of holiday homes, this is the worst standard we've stayed in to date.

Lovely home with everything needed for a cozy stay.

My dog enjoyed the backyard immensely and I felt safe knowing she was secure in the back.

I am a university scientist from England and was doing a project on ivy bees in the area and stayed on my own in River Glen for one week in October 2022 as the local Curracloe Hotel was full up for one critical night.

It all worked very well and I would recommend the house and set up to others. Everything was simple and worked and I had good contact by phone and text with the owner to get the key etc. It is a modern house in a small but very nice estate of detached houses, so anyone wanting a traditional cottage or character house would need to look elsewhere. The house has a bathroom, en suite and a downstairs toilet and a spacious kitchen diner and would work for up to 5 or 6 people, with 2 large bedrooms and one small bedroom each with 2 beds or a double bed. There is off road parking. The large amount of space and large garden with a slide was rather wasted on me. It is in a good location in the centre of Curracloe village which has a post office, shop, pub and hotel and is 2 miles form beaches and about 5 miles to Wexford town. Would work for a family with a few kids on a seaside trip or almost any trip.

The house was perfect for our family holiday by Curacloe Beach.

There is plenty of space and cheerful light in all the rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. The sitting room and outside patio were both comfortable for relaxing in the evening. The garden is huge and has a lovely play house with slide, a BBQ and a large dining table. There is a hotel that does good pub grub across the road, Curacloe village is a 5 minute walk and the beach is a 5-10 minute drive away. We all loved every bit of the holiday, even our dog! Our host Mark was also very friendly and helpful.

This house is in a good location at the center of Curracloe village.

We were 2 couples and 2 teenagers and a small dog.The house is well set up as a home from home. The garden is lovely. Beach about 6km away and Wexford town 15 mins in the car. We had a really good week and the owner was available to take a couple of questions we had on arrival. Over all a really pleasant house.

The house was fantastic, great location, lovely house , very very well equipped but the sofa let it down badly, I saw that mentioned in previous reviews and assumed it would have been sorted but it wasn't, I loved the place and the owner was grand.

But that sofa would stop me booking it again. It needs to be changed. I don't want to end on a negative so I would say once things sorted I would book this again. We had a great week in Curracloe. Loved it.

We had everything we needed in this house.

The property owner was more that helpful and was very easy to contact. The house is just accross the road from Curracloe Hotel and a few minutes drive to one of the best sandy beaches in Ireland. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone and espeially people with young children and pets.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately we found it too expensive to stay in this accomadation as we felt we didnt get a full week because checking in times and checking out times. The house itself was brilliant and had everything you needed in it. The owner was very easy to get in contact if you needed him. We would definitely recommend this property but unfortunately for us it was expensive. Denise sutton.

Very enjoyable stay.

Well kept holiday home with friendly and engaged owner. Spacious west facing sunny back garden with patio/bbq/table/chairs which were great to have as an alternative to the beach for the (our daughter loved the treehouse!). Great location in the center of the village with all amenities within a short walk. Will return again!

It was lovely location, clean and fresh house with loads of space for the kids to run around.

The house was perfect and so well equipped it had everything needed for the perfect break also ideally placed for touring Wexford and it’s beautiful beaches .As a family we agreed we would love to return and we have no problem whatsoever in highly recommending this house to anyone.

19 river glen was a lovely Immaculately clean house , a Great location and close to beach, shop and hotel.

The house was well equipped and has a large enclosed garden. Great for kids or dog.. we were very happy with the house and would definatly return and recommend it to friends and family.

The back door was damaged but when we drew it to owners attention it was fixed quickly, however the furniture in the sitting room needed replacing .

The patio furniture was neglected.

The furniture in the lounge really needs replacing.

Getting up from the couch/chairs for the 2 disabled members of my family was awkward to say the least. Same 2 yrs previously. Would definitely return if new suite was purchased. Other wise great base for the area.

Had a fabulous break in wexford.

House was perfect, was abouve and beyond our expectations. We will definitely return!!

Home felt like a home was if visiting family.

.nice property kitchen ready to used all utensils that we needed there.. loved the fire gave a real cosy atmosphere in the house..really happy with stay also 5 other guest felt the same well done will use you guys again in the future

Also some basic things need to be adressed. Very nice property that just needs some attention to detail.
