• "We throughly enjoyed our stay at Elsie Rose."

  The caravan was perfectly appointed in a lovely spot on the site. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. We recommend the restaurant for a meal and used the pool once (although the water was very cold). We we would definitely consider visiting again in the future.

  Beautiful caravan ,very comfortable ,everything you needed on hand ,it was very clean and looked after so well ,we enjoyed sitting out on the decking and so did the dogs ,i must not forget the bed best nights sleep ever ,cant wait to return thankyou

• "Would stay again, lovely and clean caravan on a beautiful site."

  Had an issue with the electricity, as I had used too many appliances whilst cooking. Owner sorted this straight away. Might be useful for this information to be shared with guests, to prevent it happening again.

  The caravan park was very picturesque and the caravan was comfortable and very clean would benefit from a bigger waste bin in the kitchen and a clothes airer to dry clothes on , the outside area a the side of the caravan could do with a general tidy up, but we enjoyed the break away

• "We were pleasantly surprised at the camp site."

  The surroundings were so peaceful and it was a lovely caravan. The beds were comfortable and i have to say was one of the most comfortable for me that I have slept in, in a caravan. Beautifully clean and most things were provided. If we had to say anything negative, they are only minor things, we could have done with a serving spoon in the kitchen and the only other thing would be an umbrella or something on the patio as it was lovely but sometimes difficult to get out of the sun. The only other thing, would be more information on where to go, as we got a bit stuck. Sometimes, locals have much more of an idea on things that are not commercialised but beautiful spots. But generally we have nothing bad to say and will definately go again at some point.

• "Very much enjoyed the Location of Elsie Rose."

  The Vans were Thoughtfully spaced and afforded privacy when on the Bonus Wrap around decking complete with gate. Felt very Safe with my Dog -travelling Solo. 40M from the enclosed dog field. The Hedge meant no visible thoroughfare should your dog be Reactive to passers by and allowed a peaceful/ private Area to sit. Parking behind/side of van, under a mature tree. South facing, so Sunshine from early morning to late evening with 2 generous seating areas & 1 set of Outdoor furniture. Would benefit from a parasol, given the exceptional weather this Summer. The Van was exceptionally clean, with Quality Fixtures & Fittings. The Beds were made up on arrival. Towel/ Tea towels are not provided. (Sykes please amend your Email conf to guests to Ensure accuracy.) The K/S bed was very comfortable. There was F.liquid, T.Tissue, Dish cloth & Scourer. A selection of Instant Cappucino style coffee sachets & Teabags for an immediate cuppa. Full fridge freezer, which is also not indicated in Description. No shop on site but a well stocked & large Co-op in Ruthin, 2 miles en -route to The park. All in all a lovely van, with complete peace & quiet, affording a thoroughly re-energising break with lots of woodland mature trees Internet had a New Router with new Instructions in van. All TV channels were accessible. I would not hesitate to return.

• "Lovely Caravan, very clean The only 4 problems we found were: The booking stated towels provided - they weren't so we had to buy some."

  The hoover was blocked so wouldn't pick up as I like to clean up before we leave. The bin is tiny and fits nothing in. There was only one small fan and was 37 degrees, to the point it was that unbearable we left a night early as we had 2 dogs who were struggling. Will stay again but not with the dogs

Just to clarify, the property details do state that bed linen is provided but towels are not included (many guests prefer to bring their own). Apologies if this wasn’t clear at the time of booking. Thank you for letting us know about the hoover — we hadn’t realised it was blocked and it will be replaced. The caravan is always thoroughly cleaned after every guest has left by our wonderful cleaner. The hoover that’s there is just for little dropped bits or a little mess that needs a quick hoover. The small bin inside is mainly for things like teabags, tissues, etc. There is a large outdoor bin/bins located next to the pool by the hall for general waste. Most guest just bag their rubbish and take it to the bins but it’s something we will look in to addressing. I’m sorry the heat was so uncomfortable on this occasion. Unfortunately we can’t control the weather, and even with the fan and windows open, it was extremely hot (37°C inside is tough for anyone, especially with dogs). We’re sorry you felt you had to leave a night early. We really appreciate your honest feedback and would be delighted to welcome you back anytime — with or without the dogs! Elsie Rose.
