We’re really pleased you found the van lovely, homely and spotlessly clean, and that the bedding and pillows were so comfortable – that means a lot to us. We’re sorry the arrival was stressful in the pouring rain. We do include a What3Words location in the listing description so you can pinpoint the exact pitch easily – it’s a free, everyday app that many guests find really helpful. We’ve also updated our location guide for entering the park to make the turning clearer and hope this helps future guests avoid the same confusion. A couple of points we’d like to gently clarify: The park is definitely dog-friendly and dogs are welcome in the hall – we take our own dog there regularly, so we’re not sure where the information that they aren’t accepted came from. There should have been a booklet for the oven in the welcome pack. It sounds as though it may have gone missing, so we’ll make sure a replacement is put in place. The air fryer and toaster are absolutely there for guests to use – we simply keep them (and cutlery etc.) stowed away so everything stays tidy. Please feel free to use them and just pop them back afterwards. Finally, the bed is a queen size rather than a king. We’ve flagged this with Sykes several times and we’re glad to say the listing has now been corrected. Regarding food options, there are several places in Ruthin that offer delivery services, and we leave leaflets about these in the welcome pack. You can also get takeaway food from the restaurant at the hall. We’re sorry the weather was so poor and that it limited what you could do, but we’re delighted the dog walks and views made up for it a little. Just to clarify, the property details do state that bed linen is provided but towels are not included (many guests prefer to bring their own). Apologies if this wasn’t clear at the time of booking. Thank you for letting us know about the hoover — we hadn’t realised it was blocked and it will be replaced. The caravan is always thoroughly cleaned after every guest has left by our wonderful cleaner. The hoover that’s there is just for little dropped bits or a little mess that needs a quick hoover. The small bin inside is mainly for things like teabags, tissues, etc. There is a large outdoor bin/bins located next to the pool by the hall for general waste. Most guest just bag their rubbish and take it to the bins but it’s something we will look in to addressing. I’m sorry the heat was so uncomfortable on this occasion. Unfortunately we can’t control the weather, and even with the fan and windows open, it was extremely hot (37°C inside is tough for anyone, especially with dogs).
