Superb holiday home in the most stunning location.
Very high standard of facilities and well kitted out, and the views across the bay are exquisite. We enjoyed the walks towards Hope Cove on one side and Soar Mill Cove on the other, and the short, scenic drives to Salcombe and Bigbury on Sea. A perfect spot to enjoy a very beautiful area!
Lovely property with beautiful views of the sea.
Next to a very good restaurant that didn’t in any way interfere with our stay. Very clean apart from the sofa being tired. Next door got an incredible welcome pack of Prosecco, cheeses, milk, bread, eggs and biscuits which we didn’t get. There was hardly any soap either and literally only teabags, coffee, salt and pepper. Would have been preferential had there just been a little more effort with the welcome. You definitely need a car. Preferably a small one as the lanes around the area are EXTREMELY narrow. You need to be a confident driver as reversing is a skill that is most definitely needed. The lanes are single track with vey high hedges and very twisty. We got stuck on numerous occasions. Don’t let that put you off as it’s a beautiful part of the country and the Crab She’d in Salcombe has the best bouillabaisse I’ve had in years. Take the paddle steamer at Dartmouth for a great trip. Excellent value. Don’t miss out on going to Blackpool sands beach. DIVINE and elegant. Great stay for 4 nights. Enjoy x
Beautifully decorated and clean got everything you would need for a self catering holiday.
Fantastic position for scenic walks and wonderful views of the sea day and sunsets and the night sky. Only one thought no. 4 was dog friendly but patio not fenced off like no. 3 and no. 5 so our dogs had to be tethered as not allowed on shared lawned area which had a sign put up half way through the week saying conservation area no one allowed on it. Thank you for a great stay wished we could have stayed longer .
