  • "Absolutely lovely accomodation."

    Everything you might need was there. Very clean inside. Beds comfy enough. Could do with two bath towels each when staying for a week. Lovely host, left tea, coffee, milk and sugar plus a very yummy cake and prosecco amazing. Would highly recommend. Lots of open spaces for dogs. Fields, a large pond, country lanes. Dog enjoyed his holiday too. Warm dog shower, towels and dryer for cleaning mucky pups and poo bags if you forget.

  • "The most amazing second year in a row."

    Mark and Carol are so welcoming and you really do feel immediately at home, but better! So well appointed and well furnished, the smell in each room and care taken for a luxurious feel but on a farm! For a holiday away from it all with a great gym and hot tub, everyone is catered for in such a beautiful location! Highly recommend also for 4 legged friends. X

  • "Lovely property in a very quiet location, all amenities are good to excellent, the enclosed dog paddock, gym, sauna and hot tub."

    Just need some screens on windows to stop bats from getting in as it was extremely warm but couldn’t leave roof windows open after finding a couple had got in. Despite the bat situation we would recommend with a warning and will look at returning again.

    The family and the dog loved it. Spacious cottage with all of the immunities we needed. Immaculately kept and accurately described. We made use of hot tub and the gym on multiple occasions. Both were very useful additions to the cottage.

    Mark gave us a guided tour and a very warm welcome. Really appreciated the lovely chocolate cake and Prosecco. Very quiet and relaxing. We spent time in the sauna and hot tub, facilities were outstanding. Our dog loved the paddock for her daily run around. Definitely would recommend and would love to return.

  • "Very high spec property, disappointing there was no welcome hamper as per all other places we have stayed over the years."

    Step into the kitchen needs highlighting as my mother fell down it, All blends into one. Just lacks the little touches to make it a 10 out of 10.

  • "We had the most amazing time, Mark went above and beyond to help."

    The standard of cleanliness, appliances and even beautiful scents in the rooms was stunning. We are looking to book again asap. Our dogs were well catered for- exercise field for them enclosed was a bonus! Sitting in the hot tub at night, when we turned off the bubbles” it was pin drop quiet- such a tonic away from our fast paced life- fab! The perfect relaxing week, thank you!

  • "The holiday accommodation was very comfortable and very clean and had everything in the cottage that you would need."

    It was very tastefully decorated and the enclosed patio and hot tub were really nice. It was very peaceful area and the paddock for the dog was brilliant. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a restful peaceful break.

  • "A lovely property, very clean, the cottage was really well set up for us and our dogs."

    What we really liked was you wouldn’t of know another dog had been in there before us! When we experienced a hiccup the owners were brilliant at problem solving so as not to disrupt our stay. And the hot tub was a great feature that they whole family enjoyed. A lovely property for a family get together.

    The perfect spot to go in any direction and explore what Devon and Cornwall have to offer. Our hosts were always on hand to offer advice or just have a chat about the area. Very lovely people. And of course Hot Tub. Get in there. Every day. You know you want to!

Strawberry Bank Barn Conversions

Strawberry Bank Barn Conversions are a collection of three stylish barn conversions, enjoying a rural setting in the village of Pyworthy, Devon. Complete with contemporary interiors, private patios, secure for pets, indulgent hot tubs, and access to a shared gym, sauna, and enclosed dog paddock, the collection delivers a retreat for couples, families and friends sharing, looking to explore this delightful area. Whilst in the area, guests can visit the Molesworth Arms Pyworthy for fine pub dining, Bridgerule has a traditional pub, The Bridge Inn (with no food served); a hub of shops and eateries can also be found in nearby Holsworthy. For attractions, enjoy tours of Holsworthy Museum, perfect for brushing up on your local knowledge, or the Dunsdon National Nature Reserve is nearby, recommended to pack your walking boots for. Head for the coast towards Bude, with Summerleaze Beach and the Bude Sea Pool available for beachgoers, where you can also try your hand at some watersports, or for golf fans, the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club and Holsworthy Golf Club are both nearby. BRIDGERULE

Holsworthy 5.5 miles; Bude 6 miles; Widemouth Bay 6.5 miles; Tintagel 21.3 miles.

The only Devon village west of the River Tamar offers a pub which serves real ales and a children’s play area. This is a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding area with some lovely walking and cycling opportunities. Nearby Holsworthy has much to offer, including a swimming pool, tennis court and splendid park with bowling green. Holsworthy town centre boasts a varied selection of traditional shops, pubs and cafés, based around the market square. Further afield is the popular coastal town of Bude which has something for everyone; great beaches for relaxing, and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide and cafes to watch it all from. For days out, take the coast road north to see the lonely lighthouse above the sea at Hartland Point or walk down the steep and cobbled village street (no cars allowed) of beautiful Clovelly to the harbour and the pub below. Follow the coast in the other direction and there's the little cove of Crackington Haven, Boscastle, King Arthur's castle at Tintagel, Doc Martin's "Port Wenn" at Port Isaac, home of the Fisherman's Friends and yet more great surfing beaches at Polzeath.
