  • "Pebble cottage is a lovely place to stay, a good location and easy access into Brixham."

    The accommodation is very nice, the log burner was great to have on during the storms. The only downside for us is the lack of communication regarding my wife’s expensive wellies that she left behind, they could’ve been picked up by our friends who live 15 mins away by now!!

  • "I would 100% reccomend 3 Pebble Cottage , from walking through the front door , it was very clean and welcoming , very nicely furnished with good quality furniture."

    The very spacious kitchen was very well equipped with literally everything you could need ,even dishwasher tabs ,cloths black bags etc.Upstairs the bedrooms were well furnished with quality furnishings and the comfiest of beds with superb bedding , bathrooms were fantastic with great showers also towels were supplied.Outside there's a lovely little courtyard plus shared access garden . I am looking forward to rebooking.

    The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and in a quiet location, with harbour views just a short walk around the corner. Excellent coastal walks and Sunday lunch at Old Market House. As warned, parking is very tight at the property!

  • "A lovely cosy & clean cottage in an absolutely fantastic location."

    It’s a two minute walk to the harbour, despite this, the cottage is extremely quiet. The log burner is exceptionally easy to use. Two lovely shower rooms. Always plenty of hot water & it was great that you had complete control over the central heating. Nathan (the owner) is great, and it’s nice to know if you have an issue he is available to speak to. Not that we had any problems whatsoever during our two week stay. We would highly recommend this cottage. As mentioned the location is wonderful and provides easy access to many beautiful spots. Car parking spot is a massive bonus! Thank you so much Nathan.

  • "Great location situated near to the Quay and all the pubs and restaurants."

    The cottage has everything you need to be comfortable, upon arrival the parking looks challenging but once done it gets easier. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

  • "The cottage was perfect for us, in the perfect location 5 minutes walk from the harbour."

    The cottage was very clean and had everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The stairs inside the cottage are steep but that didn’t affect us and there are plenty of hand rails to hold onto. Brixham had everything we needed we especially enjoyed fishing with Phil Whyte on his boat, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs to enjoy meals out, we didn’t have a bad meal while we were there, ice cream parlours are fantastic and the shops are lovely, we will definitely be returning to Brixham and hopefully will return to 3 Pebble Cottage, thank you for letting us use your lovely cottage to make our holiday perfect.

  • "The cottage was beautifully decorated and very comfortable - the king bed and sheets were really lovely."

    The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, chopping boards etc as well as a large fridge and microwave. We paid £751 for two nights and have in the past been left milk, bread and cakes or biscuits when paying this price, which would have been a nice addition. The parking and stairs were as set out in the description- make sure you read it thoroughly as they were accurate. The bathrooms were beautifully renovated, the showers had good power and plenty of hot water. The toilet in the en-suite was quite high set. Good lighting and plenty of towels. The master bedroom overlooked the communal courtyard and whilst we were stayed there, the neighbours were renovating the outside of the property. This room really has no privacy at all, we had to keep the curtains closed for the entirety of our stay. It wasn’t a big deal as we didn’t spend time in the bedroom except to sleep, but feel this should have been shared in the description beforehand. Overall, we have given the property 5/5 as we had a comfortable stay, right in the heart of Brixham and in a good location for exploring other areas. We would return!

Normally it is a quiet little sunny space to look out on. We’ll check in with our neighbours to see if we can get a heads up on any future work. Note the master bedroom on the top floor is not overlooked at all. We also have a minimum stay requirement during high season so your charge for 2 nights would have reflected this. With overheads so high now, we have sadly had to do away with our welcome packs but we note your feedback on this. Do let us know next time and we’ll see what we can arrange for you Property Owner

  • "Beautiful house, lovely and clean."

    High quality furnishings with everything you could possibly need in a holiday house. Only downside is the stairs are absolutely lethal.

  • "Pebble Cottage is lovely!"

    Its location is great, just a short stroll to the Breakwater Beach or back into town. Facilities are great and the beds very comfortable. The showers are AMAZING!!! Having your own parking spot is also very helpful. We highly recommend and will almost certainly be returning at some point in the future.

    The newly decorated bathrooms are fantastic and the beds so comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Brixham and surrounding areas being right on the coast path and just a short walk from the town centre. Would definitely recommend.

The property

3 Pebble Cottage, a pretty, three-storey abode set just a few streets away from Brixham's marina and harbourside restaurants in Devon.

This pet-friendly retreat offers guests an idyllic base for exploring the coasts of Devon from this popular fishing town.

With a dedicated parking space right outside, shared courtyard and patio it's an ideal home away from home.

Enter the property and enjoy the toasty woodburning stove and dual-aspect living/dining room, which leads to a well-designed kitchen with a range cooker and American-style fridge freezer with an ice machine.

A stable door provides a lovely connection to your immediate coffee spot right outside your back door and the wider shared courtyard beyond. Climb the stairs, which we must note are quite steep, to reach the first-floor single bedroom and family shower room with mood lighting and sleek finishes.

A king-size bedroom with its own Smart TV and open en-suite shower room completes the first-floor accommodation.

A final set of steps leads to the second-floor king-size bedroom with built-in wardrobes, Smart TV, and characterful beams. Make time during your stay to explore the cobbled streets of Brixham, starting with the bustling harbour where you can watch the fishing boats return with the day’s catch.

From there, traverse the short, scenic walk to Berry Head National Nature Reserve and Brixham Breakwater, both offering stunning sea views.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region.
