The property was lovely in a wonderful setting, but it was very dated and needed a refresh and a really good clean!

There was rubbish in drawers prom previous guests. The door step is coming away, no parasol/umbrella on teh outside table (just the frame) and the bathroom is not suitable for a full house as it is advertised for- its mouldy where its so damp- 6 people are too much for one bathroom without proper ventilation. We had a good stay but I would not return.

Charming old cottage with a recent extension which has been nicely modernised.

Very well equipped modern kitchen including washing machine and dryer. Main bedroom had a bit of musty smell but I guess this is due to the Devon climate! But we got used to it and was not really an issue for us. The sofa wasn't that comfortable. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much. And of course the well-kept garden, the view and the surrounding woods were fabulous to explore.

A truly love cottage and we would most certainly book it again.

Very peaceful . It was a little difficult to find so maybe the three words in the booking info would help as post code in the sat nav took us on a merry dance down some of Devon's tiniest lanes .
