  • "⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Peaceful Getaway We stayed at this lovely cottage for a week, and it was exactly what we needed."

The place was spotless, comfortable, and really well set up — everything was thoughtfully arranged to make the stay easy and relaxing. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, a real haven for rest and reflection. It felt like a little godsend at just the right time. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, and I’d absolutely stay again. Highly recommended for anyone needing a calm, comfortable stay

  • "Lovely quiet peaceful clean comfortable cottage."

Owner very nice. Ideally situated for doing north and south coast. Local lanes are very tight in places. We preferred using the A390 or went in/out via the village where there is a general store. Bed very comfortable and supportive for my back and the carpet is thick and luxurious. Good flush on the loo and water very drinkable for filling water bottles. Didn’t see a hairdrier but I took my own anyway. Lots of places to cater for gluten and dairy free diets in the surrounding area and locals very friendly. We didn’t want to leave…

  • "No1 is a beautiful barn conversion in a rural setting a few miles from Liskeard which has Morrisons and lots of other shops."

It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a lovely patio area which gets the sun for most of the day. We were lucky with the weather which was glorious. A good base to explore the area. Our lovely host was there to welcome us on arrival and was there to see us off and make sure we had enjoyed our stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we come back to the area.

  • "One of the reasons I went for the cottage were previous comments about the cottage being clean, and it was - great."

We wanted to see various parts of Cornwall and nothing was more than an hour and a half's drive away. I suppose it could have been cosier - a wood burning stove would have been nice though it wasn't really cold. The owner was nice and, all in all, it was a good place to stay.

  • "My wife and I loved the cottage and in our minds it was centrally located within Cornwall and we wrere only 30 mins from away from the majority of the areas on our "must visit list"."

The whole cottage was spotlessly clean and the off road parking was a bonus as on both our previous holidays in Devon/Cornwall the lack of access/parking was problimatical. If you are looking for a secluded getaway place, then, this is the cottage for you.

  • "An excellent and extremely comfortable cottage which was fitted out to a very high standard."

Everything we needed was there, including the private car park. The owner arrived only minutes after we arrived to welcome us and provided additional local information. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this cottage and will return for another visit.

Plenty of room for two, very comfortable and clean. Annette, the owner is a charming lady and extremely helpful. The next time we want a secluded break which is also close to several National Trust properties we will most definitely consider Woodview.

Very cosy and home from home, with everything available that you need. Extremely clean - absolutely spotless. The cottage is set in a beautiful peaceful garden, where we were able to sit outside on an evening, enjoying a relaxing drink, listening to the birds. Location was very good for us, as we wished to tour around, both north and south coasts of Cornwall & West Devon. Would absolutely recommend and we would certainly try to book up the cottage again if we were visiting the area.

  • "We spent an amazing week at the cottage."

It was home from home and Annette the owner was such a lovely lady. We had a welcome pack from her and also some beautiful carnations. The cottage had everything we needed for our break, from an exceptionally comfy bed to leather reclining settees. We visited St Michael’s Mount, and various interesting places, then went back to the cottage to relax, and when the weather was dry we’d sit outside on the garden chairs and had a little tipple in the beautiful gardens overlooking woodland.
