What guests are saying
Slightly unusual place, nicely quirky.
Lovely setting, nice old building without being cold and drafty. My only gripe is that there was no fridge (which really should have been available) or basic cooking facilities which I mistakenly thought would be included, the location being a bit remote and shops/ eateries being a car drive away.
Harcombe House is beautiful and the grounds it sits in are stunning.
And it is a great base to explore South Devon. We took trips out to Teignmouth and Dawlish. Slightly disappointed that the on-site cafe/bar was closed (we were told that the Fire Fighters Charity were looking for new operators to take it on). However as the bar was closed we went into Chudleigh (1 mile away) and had a great night with friendly locals. A fabulous weekend in a beautiful place.
