The property was everything we had hope.

Coast and Country Cottages were instrumental in solving the one problem that we had on arrival. One minor issue: the fire alarm is tested every Thursday at 9am at this came as a surprise. It would better if this were noted in the notes provided to the clients.

We have been visiting Dart Marina properties for many years and last stayed at this apartment in 2022 when it was fabulous.

It’s a beautiful apartment but just a few things could have been improved. Property was cold first day and the fire wasn’t working. The doors to the balcony were locked and there was no key. Also there was only one rather battered hairdryer and despite ringing the office and the promise another one would be dropped off, it didn’t appear. In the master bedroom there were no pillow protectors and the bath had not been cleaned, with tide marks and hair visible. Also there was no dish cloth in the kitchen.

twice on the holiday the boiler refused to fire up.

both times were Saturday mornings. we did mention it to coast and country but we managed without their assistance.

Our stay at 34 Dart Marina was perfect.

Everything about the apartment, the location and the view was everything we could have wanted. The beds and pillows were super comfortable for a good nights sleep after a busy day exploring the area. It is a short stroll into Dartmouth and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. And if you’re feeling lazy you can just sit in the window and gaze at the river and the activity on the river. We have stayed here a few times now and would always hope to return. It is like a home away from home and we feel relaxed as soon as we arrive. Looking forward to next year’s visit already. Thank you.

It was our sixth visit to the apartment, we absolutely love it there, there was one slight issue with the lift, it developed a terrible smell for some reason.

We have already booked again for 2026. Very good situation with superb outlook and convenient parking. Large, well appointed rooms.

This a great apartment.

Maybe not quite as furnished as several others, but great in all important aspects, particularly the comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a stay. Great views, of course, particularly being on the 2nd floor.

A gorgeous apartment.

Immaculately kept and maintained. The view over the Dart is magnificent. This was our second visit and we have already booked for 2026.

The property is as expected clean and spacious with this 5* appartment. We will be returning hopefully in the future.

The apartment is beautiful with stunning views across the river dart.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the highlight was watching the steam train pass during the day. The rooms are clean, airy and we both had a wonderful night's sleep. We hope to return in the near future.

A fabulous apartment set in an idyllic location.

Beautifully kitted out and fully equipped with everything you need for self catering. The accommodation is luxurious and very comfortable. This is the place to go to get away from it all and enjoy fabulous views. The apartment is it's in an excellent location close to the town - within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again for 2026.

All ways a lovely apartment to stay in been a number of times now, be back later in the year.

Excellent property with stunning views over the river.

Property was comfortable with everything needed. The only downside was that there was no where to sit (dressing table) with a mirror for a female to get ready. Other than this point, we loved the property and definitely would return.

34 Dart Marina was a wonderful apartment excellently equipped to a very high standard.

The outlook from the lounge was fabulous with constant movement on the river Dart. The kitchen bedrooms and bathrooms leave nothing to be desired, everything has been thought of. I would have no hesitation in recommending this 5 star apartment and feel you will not find better. I would like to ask the owner to provide a bath mat as the shower is very slippery when wet and with no wall bars makes it difficult for older people to exit the shower safely. Stayed here a few times now, always a lovely place to stay, clean and comfortable, and great views.

This apartment and setting was absolutely stunning.

We loved our time here. The views from the apartment over the river did not disappoint. Two huge bathrooms and good sized bedrooms were perfect for a group of four. Although top floor there is a good sized and quick lift in the block which was perfect for my 79 year old mum who struggles with stairs. The car parking space is also right outside of the block. Good to see tea towels, dish scourer, a few dishwasher tabs and other cleaning items available within the property. The location was perfect for us, a short flat walk away from numerous shops and restaurants, alongside ferry access. We felt very safe at night walking around and even had drinks at the hotel next door which was handy. A nice quiet area. We would definitely recommend this place and will return.

This was our second visit to this lovely property, and we have booked again for next year.

It is easily accessible. The car parking space is right outside and there is a lift to the property which is all on one level on the second floor. The view is exactly as in the photograph and, while the balcony is fairly small, the windows fold right back so that the whole room becomes part of the balcony. It is well equipped and comfortable. In our opinion it is the best property in this development.

Property was exceptional except for the shower tap, which was very, very stiff

A very few things that could be improved Disappointing that there was no kettle on arrival Also that the fridge was switched off The shower door in the en-suite does not close properly The shower control is also very stiff The hair dryer in the main bedroom was filthy There is an electrical fault on the main bedroom lights - when the en-suite light are switched on the bedroom light flickers The information folder needs updating Apart from that we had a lovely time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 34 Dart Marina.

The apartment is fabulous in every way. Loved the quiet location, the furniture and fittings and most of all the wonderful view from the lounge window. Everything very tasteful and very well equipped, particularly appreciated the close parking space and the lift. It really was just as enjoyable staying in as going out! Would love to return in the future.

We absolutely loved our time in the apartment, the view is stunning.

We had everything we needed .The only thing that I would recommend to have made it easier for us, bearing in mind that we’re older, would be a grab rail in the bathroom.

A lovely property with the most amazing views of the activity on the river, and also of the steam train passing along the opposite bank.

Second time at 34 Dart Marina, Excellent apartment clean, comfortable, well equipped, great view, quiet, parking spot by the door & short flat walk into Dartmouth centre .

We had a very enjoyable Autumn break at 34 Dart Marina, however our experience with Coast and Country Cottages was disappointing.

A prior request for non-biological laundry of linen met with a negative response and the only solution offered was for us to bring our own towels and bed linen...not a wholly satisfactory situation when booking a high-end property. Communications with Coast and Country were less than helpful…key collection and directions to the property were not straightforward…closing times of the office were not given, emails were sent during our stay, and telephone calls made to our home landline, neither of which were received until our return. Cleanliness and maintenance were also disappointing...weeds growing on balcony...silverfish in bath and shower. The controls in the walk-in shower are practically impossible to use with wet hands. Overall, however we had a very comfortable stay at 34 Dart Marina and the view from the balcony was outstanding. We hope to return to Dartmouth in the future as there is so much more to see and do in such a lovely area. We would not hesitate to stay at 34 Dart Marina again, but would expect an improved, more customer-focused approach from Coast and Country Cottages.

Our second stay in this beautiful apartment directly overlooking the River Dart.

It's supremely comfortable, well maintained, expensively furnished and extensively equipped. A real home from home. It's mesmerising to sit in front of the large bifold doors, or even open them up and go onto the balcony and take in the view of all the river traffic, boats and people pottering about. There's always something happening. In fact we've never even used the television and the books that we've taken with us have remained unread because we just want to look at that view. Likewise we self cater despite the excellent choice of eating places in Dartmouth. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and it's an easy, flat walk to M&S where you can buy all the provisions that you need. With parking right outside the apartment block and a lift right to the front door, it's so easy too to bring whatever you might need from home. In summary, a wonderful place to stay and it's all about the view.

The apartment was extremely well appointed with excellent beds, comfortable lounge furniture, and an amazing view.

However a grab rail in the shower cubicle would make it much safer especially for older people, and due to the size of the spacious lounge, it would be a huge improvement to have a larger TV. The attitude of the handling agents leaves room for improvement.

An excellent property in a superb position.

With its 2nd floor location, and fully opening bifold doors it is possibly in the best position in Dart Marina complex. It is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and well maintained. We have already booked to return next year.

This apartment was in an amazing spot.

The view is just incredible and provides a wonderful window in which to watch the world pass by. Very minor points it was very impersonal and stark - none of the usual trimmings in holiday homes that enhance your stay - books, games, binoculars even given the location etc - those thoughtful touches that turn great into brilliant. (We are serial renters for 30+ years) The cupboards were also bare - no sugar(I did leave some for the next guests) one coffee pod, no oil (things like herbs etc that make it feel that there is a community of people enjoying the house and wanting to share) no rubbish bags or even a handful of dishwashing tabs and very cheap loo roll. And my husband’s keen nose felt that the towels smelt. As I say it is these small touches that can be easily delivered that really can elevate a property easily. We love Dartmouth and had a lovely stay - thank you.

An absolutely fabulous apartment.

We cannot praise it highly enough. Great views over the Dart. Facilities were excellent. Great position for walks into the town. We will definitely holiday at this apartment again.

Firstly the apartment itself is very impressive.

We were lucky enough to stay during a week of solid sunshine and the quality of everything in the apartment (and attached complex)and the sunny views over the marina from the lounge/small balcony had a definate wow factor! As a family of 4 we also found the location to be perfect-out of the hussle of the main town traffic system but easy walking distance to all the facilities we needed. This really is a special place and if youre thinking of booking, do it! The only gripe i had was with the helpfulness (or not) of the handling agent on our day of arrival but as long as you dont need to deal with them other than picking up keys you'll be fine.

Our 2nd stay in 12 months at 34 Dart Marina so obviously we like it.

Cannot fault this property, it has everything you need, wonderful views over the river and in an excellent position with an easy flat walk into the centre of Dartmouth. Highly Recommended.

What can I say except WOW!

Superb apartment with a view to match. Everything is very high quality and there is every piece of equipment you could possibly need. Every single day we could hardly tear ourselves away from the fantastic view - it is simply awesome. We will definitely return whenever we are in lovely Dartmouth. Highly, highly recommended.

The view was stunning could sit all day watching the train & boats on the river . Great location short walk to the town centre but quiet. This is a wonderful spacious and clean appartment and a credit to the owner with great views over the marina.

Access to a lift and having a parking space is an advantage. The appartment is handy for walking along the embankment to Dartmouth Town centre. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this appartment again

Excellent just what we needed.

Cannot wait to return. Maybe when the weather is a little warmer.

This is a great apartment with lovely views, light and airy interiors and an adjacent parking spot of a standard size.

Access to Dartmouth's centre is all level, with a roomy lift in the apartment building. Facilities are good, beds very comfortable, and everything was spotless. We had 2 issues during our stay hence the 4 stars and not 5. The first has been mentioned on another review, there is a strong and significant draft that comes down the chimney and up through a grid in the floor of the living room. Any heating that is on will not help with this! The fire is for display only so we were able to block off the opening to prevent the draft somewhat, but this really needs attention. The second issue was that we were unable to change the heating for a day and a half after arrival, as the control touchscreen had been locked with a PIN, presumably by another guest. Contacting the local Coast and Country on Sunday diverted us to Sykes head office. They did call back later, but a fix was not available until the Monday am when a call from the local office to the Caretaker resolved the problem in moments as he had online access to the system. This seems to be a bit of a procedural fail, the on-call head office obviously doesn't have access to local contacts. We would happily stay here again, as I am sure the chimney situation will be resolved. And the response from Coast and Country when they were open on the Monday was immediate and helpful.
