34b Clarence Street

This is a fantastic property.

Central location so you're close to everything but on a really quiet street so you hardly see anyone. Parking is in the public carpark but we arrived Good Friday and with a little patience we managed to get a spot. It's easy to drop off luggage at the property or it's just a short walk from the car park if you prefer. The accommodation is extremely clean, and the lounge was a lot more comfortable than it looked in the picture. The main two bedrooms are extremely large and the en-suite is a bonus. Kitchen is well equipped and the coffee machine is a lovely touch. We were a party of five adults and we had a fantastic stay. This is our second time in Dartmouth this year and the staff at Coast and Country are so friendly and helpful. We secured an early check in both times which was a great start to our break. Can't fault the company or their accommodation.

Location brilliant for car parking, cafes restaurants and ferries. Apartment kindly well equipped and what we didn’t see mentioned is that it does have glimpses of the river which we loved. Would fully recommend this quirky apartment and thanks for a great stay.

Sad to leave, a great location, everything possible provided, very clean and tastefully furnished.

Hi great place but unfortunately the housekeeping had not been done and we had to wait for 3 hours on arrival for the bedding, towels and cleaning to be done ready for us.

...not so good for the start of our holiday...will be looking to Sykes Cottages for a refund. Kind regards Sarah

Very nice property in a quiet area of town but easy reach of parking and town centre.

Has absolutely everything. The weather was brilliant all week and was sorry to leave. I thought the bed was a bit too soft for our liking but hey ho you can't have everything. A very enjoyable holiday.

The apartment was lovely well stocked clean and comfortable.

.we did have a couple of issues which we repirted to the office...in the second bedroom we hd a 5ft bed frame with a 4ft 6in matress which meant i hit my arms on the bedframe everytime i moved also my husband and i found the bed fue to the smaller matress to squashed...the tumble dryer also over heated as the water was not going into the water container and was falling into the machine which was very dangerous...the office promised to get it sorted and were waiting for an engineer to come out...having said that we would stsy hete again when issues are sorted

We love staying at 34b, it is our first choice for holidaying in Dartmouth.

Stay in Dartmouth every year.

This is one of the nicest places we've stayed in.

We had a great stay, the property was very comfortable and parking in the car park worked very well (2 mins away).

M&S food is also 2 mins away which was extremely useful. Dartmouth is terrific with all the ferries, steam train, restaurants and many bakeries! So good to be so central. Thank you very much for providing such a lovely property.

This is a really comfortable and cosy apartment and the perfect base for exploring the area.

We have stayed here at 36b Clarence Street six times now.

It’s our go to Dartmouth holiday location.

Apartment is in a good quiet position in Dartmouth, close to the harbour and the shops, everything is as described, a well appointed kitchen, very warm comfortable and clean, 2 big bedrooms 1 box room, plenty of room for everyone.

We would recommend this property to friends and if returning to Dartmouth would hope to stay in Clarence Street again. One negative, the stairs leading up to the apartment the hand rail is partly rope and not a solid hold, difficult this time with badly sprained ankle

Fab cottage right in the centre of Dartmouth.

Very cosy, with all the comforts of home. Beautifully decorated and contemporary. We would definitely stay again.

The steps into the flat were very steep, with a difficult twist near the top, there should be a warning of this.

The lighting in the kitchen was appalling, far too dark for a kitchen particularly. New LED bulbs in all the lights should be added. The ensuite shower head could not be secured, so the water just went on the shelf below. We had to secure it with a piece of cotton. The shower over the bath was not thermostatically controlled, so it was impossible to get it to the right temperature. The macerator in the ensuite was annoyingly noisy, and was not mentioned in the property details.

We’ve stayed here 4 times now and it’s our go to Dartmouth location every year now.

It’s the perfect location to relax and explore Dartmouth.

I was attracted to 34b because of the bright and lively decor.

This was matched by the quality of the finishing touches around the house and the fully equipped kitchen. The location, in the centre of Dartmouth, is an added bonus, as is the morning sun streaming into the space.

It is a lovely place and we very much enjoyed our stay.

As a tall family, it would be good to put in the listing that there are two low doors. Thankfully they are not used by everyone but one is the en-suite so you had to remember to duck in the middle of the night. The other, that someone has described as a child's room was small, and on this occasion was used by our 6'4" son. As we were given one key, a useful addition would be a key safe. The house is in a lovely area and very close to town.

all bedrooms are comfortable, but the single room, could be advertised as small single or child's room.

We stayed during Regatta week and were not made aware beforehand that the parking was now out of town.

This should have been notified before. It caused problems on an otherwise perfect stay.

We were surprised at the small size of the box room.

Just didn't come across in the online literature. We were pleased with the location.

This was our third stay at this flat which we enjoy due to the facilities and location.

Interestingly this time we were very aware of people staying above us which we had not heard before. When in the sitting room you can clearly hear people walking around and talking upstairs. I wonder if something has changed? Also the price for next year for the same week has increased substantially which has made us think again about booking that flat.

There was a very noisy dog in the flat above, we could hear the dog running and barking.

34 b Clarence Street was an extremely comfortable and very well equipped apartment.

Furnishings were very stylish and kitchen had everything you needed. It was so well situated to Dartmouth centre, literally a few minutes to the harbour front. Would highly recommend it. Also the seagulls were in fine voice at 5am!!!!

Beautiful property, tastefully and well equipped in a great location, ideal for walking into the town centre with all its fabulous restaurants and pubs.

Our accommodation in Dartmouth was perfect, the location was accurately described and the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated and the kitchen was equipped.

The staff at the coast and country offices were very friendly and the keys and information were ready and waiting for us. Would definitely go there again.
