Description

Resting in a level location and just moments away from all that the beautiful town of Dartmouth has to offer, including the stunning waterfront is this end-terrace dwelling.

Bring your loved ones to Lake Victoria Cottage, an exceptional holiday accommodation, for an exciting getaway to one of the most sought after locations within the South Hams area of South Devon.

After a bracing day striding along the South West Coast Path, return to the comfort of the property, which enjoys a sleek interior design, quality furnishings and a charming nautical theme, serving as a gentle reminder of your coastal surroundings!

Step into the living room, where the sumptuous sofas invite you in to tune into the TV with Freeview and an Amazon fire stick, perfect for catching up on the latest box set!

Across from here lies the compact, yet fully-equipped kitchen, containing an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge with ice-box, as well as the added luxury of a washer/dryer and a dishwasher.

Upstairs are the two bedrooms, where the endearing nautical theme continues and comprises of a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom, both served by a contemporary family shower room.

After unpacking your bags and exploring the cottage, head out into town and discover its superb range of places to eat and drink, ranging from elegant bars, modern restaurants, cosy pubs and traditional takeaways, and if you are a real foodie, we recommend visiting the many food and drink events that take place throughout the year, including the famous Dartmouth Food Festival in October.

As well as exceptional eateries, the town plays host to a magnitude of things to see and do, including taking to the River Dart to try your hand at kayaking and paddle boarding, or if you are feeling more leisurely, hop on board a boat to enjoy the waters, and if you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of seals and otters!

Other local attractions include the impressive fortress of Dartmouth Castle or lacing up your walking shoes to meander along the iconic South West Coastal Path for some stunning views and to stop off at the Compass Cove Beach and Blackpool Sands.

With all of this and so much more, secure your stay at Lake Victoria Cottage and look forward to a family-friendly adventure in Devon.

Would be much better as a one bedroom cottage as the bathroom is far too small and their isn't enough room for a family to use comfortably.

The bed could do with a new mattress as it was very uncomfortable. Blackout curtains/blinds would be good too due to the street lights. A parking permit would be great as finding off road parking is near impossible and the park and ride can be costly for a weeks stay and you have to renew parking on a daily basis which is a pain. If customers have to strip beds before they leave a laundry bag for the dirty washing would be a good thing. Its perfect for a couple to stay for a short break as its close to the local shops etc
