Lovely cottage superb location wonderful location we did have to do some cleaning from last people as small bin in bedroom was still full hoover no new bag for Henry plus refuse bin in cellar was not pretty as overflowing could do with a good bleaching but couldn’t get it up and out to road but got rid of all old rubbish to help out.

Main bed was tired and tatty needed replacing but sheets were clean and good towels Views were great and decor lovely neighbours very welcoming lovely chat about the cottage and history and pub team were very helpful down road along with renovation team opposite. Dittisham is beautiful shame Dart cottage has been sold.

Dart Cottage was clean and comfortable, and in a fantastic location - we could walk everywhere, walk the dog easily, get the boats easily.

The cottage is a little limited in facilities (no garden/outside seating, small kitchen) but it didn’t really matter, especially for a shortish stay. We’d definitely come again!

This was a return visit, but we would not return again.

On arrival, we found an extra fridge in the living room. It took four days for it to be removed. A general Sykes manual was in the property which kept referring to a cottage manual that we did not have. This meant we had no idea what to do with recycling, and there were no bags or outdoor bins provided. Instructions would have been helpful. All in all, we were disappointed with the comfort of the property.
