Equipped with everything for a holiday stay Very comfortable. Beautiful surroundings and garden to enjoy. Home made cream tea on arrival which was very welcome. Host very welcoming

Such a beautiful and well appointed cottage in a series of other cottages converted from old farm buildings.

All very individual with lots of outdoor spaces to make use of. We had a a wonderful time there and would recommend this property for an ideal location

Everything was clean and well thought out - the cream tea on arrival was a bonus.

I struggled a little to use the bath because there were no hand grips, but this was a small matter since the shower was excellent. Great location for Colyton which we loved and the doggy field kept our dachshunds more than amused because of the rabbits! John was extremely friendly and helpful. We can recommend the Bull Pen wholeheartedly.

! Loved the field next to us, great for that first up with the lark walk!! Colyston had some great food availability for fish meat and deli!! Found the cottage was perfectly kitted out to enable me to cook all this lovely food!! Loved the walks along the river bank!!

Amazing property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect in every way , and the outside areas were an extra bonus to relax in with our dogs .. we would definitely recommend it and will be visiting again next year.

Better than expected, grounds around cottage and the countryside.

Sarah greeted us on arrival and showed us around, topped off by a complimentary cream tea! Sarah and John were great hosts, advantage of them living onsite. The Bull Pen was large considering it accommodates 2 people. We have two dogs and the perfect location with countryside and walks just a few steps away. Ideally located for the lovely town of Colyton and it shops, eating places and Fish & Chips and Seaton Electric Railway station. Easy reach of Lyme Bay, Charmouth, Seaton, Beer & Branscombe. What a lovely place, we were met by John when we arrived,he very politely showed us around his wonderful place , loads of outside seating a huge field for games and dog walking, a great wildlife pond , bbq area, a massive glasshouse with seating as a sociable area, the cottage itself was very clean and tidy with everything you need and more, we will definitely recommend and rebook at sometime, thanks for sharing your wonderful spot.

What a delightful cottage, in a beautiful peaceful setting, colourful flowers everywhere and lots of pretty garden areas to sit in The owners were very friendly and helpful and we were impressed with how well dogs were catered for with feeding bowls and exercise field.

.This was one cottage that we would definitely want to return to and will recommend to our friends and family .

The only thing we found wanting was the lack of properly comfortable seating to watch t.

v., (we are close to our eighties!). Otherwise everything was brilliant.

We had a lovely stay at the bull pen.

Very good location for the main seaside towns. Lovely walks with the dog and a paddock on site for a quick walk with the dog. They left cream tea and milk on arrival which was a nice gesture. Only thing to point out to owner was the dvd player didn’t work. Other than that a lovely stay and would like to return out of season to use the cosy log burner.

The cottage was excellent and very comfortable with everything that we needed. Our dogs loved the paddock to run around in - they will definitely be back and so will we! Thanks so much.

It is nicely situated with pleasant views. Having a secure field for the dogs to play in was an added bonus.

Tranquil heavenly country retreat.

If you're looking for a place to recharge and relax this is it. Immaculate cottage crisp white bedding and if required cosy log burner. Hosts were very welcoming and the complimentary cream tea on arrival was a real treat. Will definitely be back.

Exactly as listed. It is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing vacation at any time of year. We have three dogs and the environment is very doggy friendly. We love The Bull Pen!
