Laid out in a reverse level style to make the very best of its lovely rural views is Beech Cottage. This pretty converted barn is ideal for couples and families seeking a holiday in this popular part of Cornwall. On the first floor, the open-plan living area offers a well-equipped Mediterranean style kitchen where you can prepare meals for the family. Light floods in through French doors across a Juliet balcony making the living area the perfect space to sit in the sun with a good book or stargaze in the evenings. Why not curl up in front of the wood burning stove and watch a film on the smart TV before retiring to one of three quiet and restful bedrooms on the ground floor? Outside is an enclosed suntrap seating area - perfect for dining al fresco and you are of course welcome to use and explore all of the wonderful facilities that Trenannick has to offer. Perfect setting and clean, well-equipped, comfortable accommodation for our family.

A great base for exploring Cornwall. Our hosts were kind and considerate, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The grounds around the cottage were beautiful, green, and peaceful. The cottage itself was lovely and very clean, with all the facilities we needed. The only downside was that the ground floor had a very low ceiling.

It was a pleasure to welcome you, and we're so pleased you enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and beautiful grounds. Thank you as well for mentioning the low ground floor ceiling. As the cottage is a traditional character property (17th century), some original features, including the ceiling beams, have to be retained, but we appreciate you pointing this out as it can be helpful for future guests. I think it's fair to say that 300 years ago, folk were much shorter than we are today. In contrast, the first floor ceiling is perfect for giants! Julie and Nick are fabulous hosts with impeccable cottages and serene surroundings especially with their 3 Alpaca comrades who were super friendly and a marvellous addition to our October Half term holiday fun with our 3 kids!

They thought of everything from towel warmers to Cornish cookies and doggy mud wash to games and dvds. Highly recommend the stay to families with young children like us who enjoyed the play area apple trees barbecue area as well as taking the alpacas for walkies! The cottage is so aesthetic and cozy and we would surely return again very soon x
