We are returning guests, however our last visit was 12 years ago.
The grounds are beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. We were pleased to hear that some of the bungalows are now dog friendly which is why we booked. Overall the bungalows were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. A couple more lamps would be perfect for the bedrooms and one in the living area for a cozier feel on an evening and a couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door and main bedroom door would have been useful. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was delicious… very large portions. Thank you for a lovely stay
Staff on site very polite and helpful.
Only minor gripes with property were baking trays supplied were not clean - probably last occupants? and the blind in the living room was broken which we reported. Lovely and peaceful location. Couldn't belive how quiet it was. Would recommend the site update the property tho as no plug sockets had usb built in and ghe tv was basic which disappointed our son who was hoping to connect his devices to stream.
