"Stayed here in June 2026 as a couple."
We had a warm welcome upon arrival, and the owners checked that we had everything we needed. The first thing we noticed was just how spectacular the views were. A delicious cream tea and fresh milk were waiting in the fridge for us, which was a nice touch after a long drive. The cottage was in excellent condition with a wide range of kitchen utensils to use and the bed was comfortable and clean. The location is particularly good in that it is central to most places within Cornwall, having spent no more than an hour on average to get to places such as Port Isaac and Newquay. Liskeard provides electric charging points and local supermarkets for those looking to self-cater.
If we had to say one bad thing, it would be the washing machine not working on our visit but the helpful owners quickly dropped off spare towels.
Looking forward to visiting again and checking out more local villages and the walks nearby.
On the last day the owner came over to say bye and asked how the week went, wishing us a safe journey home, which was a lovely personal touch.
If you are looking for a relaxing retreat in Cornwall and don't mind driving, then you will not find better then Cheesewring farm, it was stunning!

"A lovely, comfortable and well equipped cottage, with fantastic views and walks from the doorstep."
A lovely welcome pack for us and our dog which was very thoughtful. We were lucky with the weather but the cottage was very cosy in the evenings, with efficient central heating.
We will definitely be going back, hopefully soon

"The accommodation was very clean however while the bathroom was also very clean we found the toilet pan was situated too close to the wall in front of you leaving little room for your knees."

"Cheesewring cottage is very comfortable and cosy with everything you need for your stay."
The owners were on hand if needed but not intrusive. The lovely welcome gifts were greatly received. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and there are plenty of walks from the cottage. Weather wasn’t great for us so we couldn’t take full advantage of this sadly. There are so many places to visit within an hour of the cottage so it is perfectly situated for exploring north and south Cornwall and further afield if you wish. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return.

"I should really say it was awful so that people don't spoil our chances of booking such a pleasant place."
Very well maintained and in a very nice scenic location.
Also be aware it is at an elevation of nearly 1000 feet. So some mornings are very cloudy however once this clears the views are so pleasant.
Also its so quiet not much air traffic hardly a single vapour trail and very peaceful.
Also very easy access to the Bodmin Moors.

"We had an excellent time."
The property has views to die for. We were a bit apprehensive about the locality, but all our fears were unfounded as it is a beautiful location. The property was all we could have wished for, everything we required was there and the owners were ever so helpful.

Clean and comfortable, cream tea was waiting for us and was very welcome after a long journey Only word of advice is to use the owners instructions and not your sat nav to you reach the property . Would recommend.

"As I have already stated by phone call to your office why were we charged £60."
00 for 2 dogs, yet other people on site were not charged for there dogs.
Syke replay is not our problem, thanks for your help. Last time we will use you.
Apologies for any confusion. All guests who bring dogs along with them on a cottage break are asked to pay a pet supplement of £30 per pet per week. (This is added at the time of booking) There are different requirements for guests who stay on the campsite.

We were welcomed with fresh milk eggs and cream tea in the cottage. We self catered and it was really well stocked with everything needed to cook proper meals. I although on the edge of the Moor it was convenient for coast, eden project and nearby towns. The hosts were very friendly. We would happily stay again and recommend it

If it's Bodmin moor you are looking for, I don't think you could find a better location. Right on the Cheesewrings, Hurlers Stone circles and old mines all around you.
