We were delighted with wood cottage which suited us perfectly.

It was clean and well prepared on our arrival and was very peaceful and comfortable. We would certainly stay there again Just two things we would mention but not as criticism. One was that the heated towel rail would not work and the other is that the containers for recycled rubbish had not been put out and consequently we're full and rotting on the decking.

Generally a nice stay , however not the best we have stayed with you over many years.

... The photos on line are not totally representative. The cottage is much darker than shown and the garden space, really shouldn't be called a garden. The space is really only big enough from a very badly maintained metal table and chairs. The shower seals were dirty and the sinks both in the shower room and the toilet upstairs would not drain away. Seems strange that a cottage which allows a dog doesn't provide a vacuum. Bedrooms were nicely decorated, but not great for storage. Such a shame as lovely position and the weather was amazing

We had a lovely stay my wife & I.

Wood cottage is clean & tidy. Clean comfortable bed. Shower stayed warm for both of our showers. Kitchen well equipped, would have liked a Pyrex dish for cooking Mac & cheese & a washing machine although there is a launderette down the road & it was cool dry weather so we didn’t need to wash anything. We enjoyed the use of the smart TV with iPlayer, Amazon prime & normal channels. The house was a bit chilly (October) at times but probably our reluctance to turn the electric heating on too long. There are some parking restrictions but we worked around them & got a weekly car park pass. Lynton & Lynmouth are great little towns with independent shops, bars, pubs & a couple of convenience shops. The walking from Wood cottage is excellent especially if you like hills, valleys, woods & coastline.
