Fantastic accommodation, we have just returned from our holiday, 2 adults and 3 kids, this bungalow was perfect.

Beds are really comfy, sofa is great and it has absolutely everything you need in the kitchen. Met the owners as we were leaving as we were running slightly late, the owners made us feel so welcome and they had even left us some welcome gifts when we first arrived. There is also a lovely view and some green space directly in front of the accommodation. All round 5*, highly recommend.

Lovely accommodation with everything you need.

Had a slight mishap with a pillow and the owner was very understanding about the accident. High quality accommodation and the best I’ve ever had.

Very nice stay for us with 6 people and a dog; well equipped, clean, comfortable, good location, nice to go for a dip in the (shallow) pool, good value.

Every comfort has been thoughtfully provided, so you really don’t need to bring anything; everything is already taken care of. Another Fantastic Stay – Already Booked Again!

Just got back from another brilliant stay at Rebecca’s bungalow, and once again, it was perfect! It really does feel like home from home, so clean, comfy, and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. A huge thank you to Rebecca for the lovely treats, especially the homemade Victoria sponge! Such a thoughtful touch, it’s always the little things that make the biggest difference

This has to be a review of two halves, a definite 5+ star for the bungalow,really clean ,well stocked with crockery ,cutlery and just about anything else you’d need, lovely comfy bed, the wine ( which we drank on our anniversary,thankyou ,) we found left for us was lovely also the dog treats which pleased Norman.

i had reason to contact Rebecca and she was really helpful, lovely lady helping me to understand the boost system for the water, lovely hot shower too, so thankyou Rebecca for a lovely stay, However I feel Sykes needs to up-its game with this one,and I would only give the site a 3 star rating ,the listing does not say there are 2 steep hills to get to the bungalow and as I have problems with my hip and knee,I really struggled,the parking instructions should be park where they say,that’s fine but then climb the hill and at the top turn right and the bungalow is at the end, not being able to park at the top of the hill meant it was a struggle with 2 suitcases plus the dog crates etc and everything else you take away with you. You also show a fully stocked shop on your website which simply does not exist anymore, the shop was moved apparently ages ago into the pool reception area and carries next to nothing in supplies,The receptionists (apart from the lady with curly hair who we saw in the pub working ) were unfriendly, and after swimming one day we went into the pub , my husband had his pint but I was told I couldn’t have coffee as he didn’t know how to use the machine and the woman that did know wasn’t in yet ,that’s if she comes in at all ( his words not mine ) the food in the pub was lovely and we couldn’t fault it, but we won’t be going back again which is a shame as the bungalow is perfect for us.

Really enjoyed stay at Wrens Nest the accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped, which made our stay there all the better.

The facilities of the park were also good, especially the pub where you can either eat in or have a take away meal (Sunday Carvery was good) Would recommend this site

Absolutely beautiful accommodation.

We have stayed on the site 3 times in different accommodations & this is by far the best. Very clean,lovey bathroom, clean & fresh towels & bedding. Lovely little touch’s on arrival (milk,wine & dog treats) The host was so lovely Perfect location for exploring We will definitely be returning

The cottage is in a great spot on the park. Very quiet and a great view. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Great for exploring the Tamar Valley and surrounding area.

The property was situated in a very quiet area of the holiday camp me and my partner didn’t mind the slight hills from the car but the children weren’t impressed , I originally booked this place going of the other reviews of cleanliness unfortunately what I got was personally not up to standard, there was mounds of dog hair all round the fridge freezer, dirty cups, a lot of cobwebs , pubic hair left in bath ,poo faeces left around main bathroom toilet , all the fronts of the kitchen cupboards and handles were dirty , cushions on the couch were all put on wrong and when rearranging them the sofa had not been hovered underneath , I’m definitely not only here to write negative about this place but I think a bit more time needs to go in for the cleans in between people staying, we loved the freshly washed towels and the extremely comfy beds and fresh linen the smart tvs were a added positive it was well equipped definitely with everything you need , nice biscuits and a bottle of wine on arrival and fresh milk in the fridge with all tea coffee making facilities , it’s very spacious and had ample storage for all our things we loved the onsite facilities and also loved being able to venture outside to other places in the area overall we did have a lovely break Many thanks jade

We had an absolutely amazing stay.

The chalet was lovely. So well maintained and spotlessly clean. You would never know it was dog friendly accommodation, it did not smell of dogs at all. It’s bigger than it looks too - we were three adults, two children and a large dog and we didn’t feel cramped at all. Comfortable beds, really lovely bathroom, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Lots of cleaning equipment too. The site is fantastic, very easy to book the pools through the website. Would 10/10 recommend and we will definitely book again. Such great value for money.

second time we have stayed there and everything was spot on.

Got used to the heating which is probably great for most of the year but if you stayed in the winter you need to keep the boost on most of the day. nice touches to have milk in the fridge and a lovely bottle of wine, Well done. Pat

We appreciated the thoughtful little extras (milk, biscuits, wine, treats for the dogs and kids) and having a Christmas Tree too was a lovely touch. There was everything we needed from washing powder to dishwasher tablets. We love that the place is so well equipped that you don’t have to worry about bringing anything other than yourselves and your clothes! Highly recommend. Looking forward to our next stay, thank you

Yet again we can’t recommend Wren’s Nest enough.

It is a very comfortable, well maintained cottage, and it is a delight to return to. Once more we went in late autumn but we remained warm and comfortable as the heating is easy to use. Also having both a washing machine and dishwasher makes whatever length of stay so easy to manage. And of course the extra loo is great for a party of 6 and/or any guests. Thanks again to the Wrens for another great stay and we very much look forward to our return in the New Year.

Not recommended for disabled people as no disabled parking and you had to walk up a hill to get to the place House was very comfortable and clean, but the heating was not very warm and the hot water was on a timer as well as the shower only in the morning The clubhouse food was disgusting would not stay again

Stayed here from the 24th of August for 7 nights.

Cannot recommend the property or owner enough. The bungalow is beautiful with high spec. Biscuits and a bottle of wine on arrival which was a lovely touch after a 6 hour drive. Everything you needed for a week away. Washing machine with washing gel and fabric conditioner which was a massive help. Outside seating and a lawn infront for the children to play on. Smart TVs with Netflix and apps. Very clean, comfy beds. Was a dream to sleep. Where the bungalow is situated is very quiet. Couldn't hear no neighbors at all. Lots on info inside a coffee table drawer where we chose lots of things to do. Short walk to the Honicombe Arms where they have live singers, games room, food with certain food themed nights. Indoor and outdoor swimming pool which was easy to book. A real home from home and will definitely be back. Already looked for next year.

Excellent holiday cottage.

Very clean and well decorated, had all the required facilities to make our stay very comfortable. Got off to a good start to find a nice welcome pack from the owners, including treats for our dog (& the family). We had some good nights in the on-site pub, with very good food & friendly staff, plus some entertainment. Parking was easy, just a couple of minutes walk away from the cottage(albeit uphill).

This was the second time we have stayed here and we weren’t disappointed.

The facilities are excellent and alongside this Rebecca has thought of every little practicality from dishwasher tablets to bin liners so you really don’t need to buy or bring anything. The cottage is clean and well maintained and the local neighbours friendly and welcoming. With 2 adults and 4 children the space was perfect and the open plan layout allowed for fun family time together while cooking meals which we enjoyed. Close to many lovely attractions if you travel by car this is an excellent anchor for a family holiday, our favourite was Seaton beach which is a short drive away. Rebecca was on hand if we had any questions, we would definitely recommend staying here and have already booked for a return visit next year! Thank you Rebecca for a lovely holiday.

We had a lovely stay.

.. everything you could want in the accommodation which felt very modern, clean and comfortable with a view over a large grassed area with no cars visible which we were very happy with.. Easy to book swimming online and the indoor pool was great. There is a short walk from the parking area which is good if you have children as there are no cars in the immediate vicinity. We had no problem parking at any time but it is something to consider if you have mobility problems. Thank you for a great holiday.

We booked Wrens Nest with less than 24hrs notice due to a family medical crisis and we couldn’t have been more impressed.

We arrived late and in the dark and the security light on the property made a a wonderful first impression. The unexpected welcome pack was a an added bonus and helped us settle in. The property had everything we could have wished for and was our safe haven at the end of each difficult day. We were only a party of two for most of the time but Wren’s Nest had everything to cater for a party of 6 of all ages, plus a dog, in comfort. The beds were comfortable and everywhere was clean and well maintained. The washing machine was an added bonus and much appreciated. The addition of an extra toilet which is planned over the winter will make a great addition to anybody’s stay. We can’t comment on the leisure facilities as we did not use them although we can recommend the food and the hospitality at the pub on the site. We plan to return to Wren’s Nest next year in better circumstances and we would recommend it to anyone. Thank you to the owners for making our stay the most pleasant it could be. Anne and Tom R.

Wrens Nest, is a lovely bungalow, well equipped, nicely furnished and the layout is comfortable.

Each bedroom has comfortable beds, configured as either double or single twins, nicely decorated, with bedside tables, lights, wardrobes, clothes hangers and TV. Towels and bed linen are of good/high quality. The lounge is equipped with a corner suite, capable of seating 5/6. The dining table and chairs are comfortable, large screen TV is a delight to watch. WIFI is included with speeds upto around 12Mbps. The kitchen is well equipped, with separate fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric hob and oven the owner supplied a generous welcome pack, which included a treat for our dog. There is a separate WC, which is a little tight for the larger person. Bathroom has a bath with electric shower, all easy to use. The enclosed garden and furniture are well constructed, However, if your pet likes to escape, keep a close eye on them, as there are gaps under the ajoining hedge. We noticed that every Monday the gate was left open, not sure why? The heating and hot water are controlled via a 30min, 1hr and 2 hr timer process. The main site is well equipped, with swimming pools, gym, shop and a pet friendly pub that does good food. The location has good access to roads and public attractions. We stopped for two weeks, the bungalow was a pleasure to stop in.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Wren's Nest and what a lovely stay it was.

On arrival there was no check in which meant we could go direct to the lodge. The lodge was lovely, clean and tidy and suitable for a wheel chair user although the toilet is separate to the bathroom and quite compact but that didn't affect our stay. Provided with lovely clean fluffy towels and decent bedding. We could not have asked for anything else during this stay - everything you could possibly need was provided and the extra's provided were a really nice touch. Will definitely recommend and looking to book again next year!!

Very pleased with Wren's Nest.

Perfect for our needs and lovely location between Callington and Tavistock. Only slight issue was the lack of parking...nearest spots were a couple of hundred yards away if you got lucky. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Other than that nothing to pick fault with at all.

The holiday home was lovely.

It had everything we needed and was very clean, we would definitely come back.

A lovely cottage, well stocked and spacious.

Nice green area out front for picnics / run around. Size was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers plus dog. Easy booking of small gym/pool. Nice evening entertainment on 2 nights (if you choose to attend - not intrusive ie not heard from cottage). Grounds lovely though not suitable for disabled due to steep hills. Couldn't recommend the cottage or cottage owner more - fabulous!

Lovely little property.

Has literally everything you could think of and definitely felt like a home from home. Kids loved playing out on the grass at the front and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Beds and sofa were very comfy. The park itself is quiet but it was nice having the pub on site for a drink to end the day. Swimming was very easy to book and kids enjoyed it. Games room and little arcade were also nice additions, although need to bring own bats and ball to play table tennis. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend the property as a comfortable base for exploring Cornwall.

We had a lovely visit and everything we needed was available from an iron to games.

This was truly value for money and we will definitely be booking again, thank you.
