Lovely quiet location in a friendly village.

The accommodation was excellent, with a well‑kitted little kitchen perfect for eating in. The hot tub was a great touch, and everything was clean and tidy throughout. We loved it.

This was our second stay at Shamrock.

We loved it just as much as the first time. The property is cosy, clean, comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay. The hosts are lovely too. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a lovely week at Shamrock, we would recommend this lovely cottage as it was well presented, clean and every little detail had been thought of.

Michelle was lovely and welcoming and was on hand if you needed anything. The hot tub was great and the little enclosed garden was good for our little dogs.

A perfect place to relax or to explore south Devon from.

The facilities and decore were excellent, clean and modern, with some very thoughtful touches to make you welcome. (Just one small observation for the owner, the water pressure drops whenever the toilet is flushed, the washing machine is running or the dishwasher is on. This causes the electric shower to turn off. Good to fix if possible or put a note somewhere?)

Beautiful place very tranquil plenty of room inside and outside the people that own Shamrock are very friendly and nice as well all in all its just a lovely place

We had a lovely few days in this delightful converted stable.

Very comfortable bed and everything we needed plus welcome treats and very kind and attentive hosts. Lots of interesting places to visit locally, National Trust properties and we had a great day at Canonteign Waterfalls. Ideal in a heatwave as lots of shade!

The accommodation is truly 5 star, with attention to detail in all aspects of the renovation. The village is lovely with a quaint pub run by volunteers who made us feel very welcome. As did the owners who are a helpful and friendly couple on hand if you need them. Nothing to fault at all, so good we booked for later in the year before we left ! Thank you so much !

Outstanding, thoughtful, immaculate.

Shamrock truly exceeded every expectation. The converted stable block has been renovated to an exceptional standard and styled with real care. Everything was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and full of little touches that made the stay feel special. We arrived to treats, fresh milk, cream and jam for scones, and much more. There were even natural dog treats, food, shampoo and towels for our little Oscar. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and was the best night’s sleep we’ve had in ages. The high‑quality bedding and towels made it feel luxurious. The bathroom was gorgeous, the fire was cosy, and my son was in his element snuggled up on the sofas. We watched films with the children and then ended the evening relaxing in the hot tub, looking out over the peaceful paddocks. We will absolutely be returning and recommend Shamrock without hesitation. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place to stay.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Shamrock.

It was so peaceful and quiet. The hot tub was great- looking out over the countryside. The lodge was really comfortable and had absolutely everything you could need from kitchen roll, torches, an umbrella, poo bags... you name it, it has been thought of. Whilst staying we visited the beautiful Exmouth sea front and Bicton Gardens, which were both within a half an hour drive. The owners of shamrock were super friendly and brought over some treats for the dog, as well as providing a tasty welcome treat for us. We couldn't fault the property at all, thank you.
