  • "Was worried about booking a new property with no reviews but I didn't need to worry."

The owner contacted us prior to our visit and it is very clear that they care about providing the best experience. The property is gorgeous. The photos online do not do it justice in my opinion. I would say I am quite picky but I couldn't fault it. The owners have clearly given a lot of thought in to the property and its very well equipped. To be honest I am surprised that Sykes haven't rated this property a 5*. This property is nicer than other 5* Sykes properties that we have stayed at and similar. The outside area is lovely. Sadly due to the weather we didn't get to spend as much time in this area as we had liked but for those hot summer months it would be gorgeous. However the property is so well equipped, cosy and well thought out that imagine even a winter break would be lovely here. We have already recommended this property to friends and family. It was just lovely

  • "We have just come back from lower moorwood and honestly what can we say apart from wow."

From arrival we were completely smitten with the property, beautifully laid out and presented with everything you could think of/need. Exceptional garden space with fabulous views were you can watch rabbits, and ducks wander the space beyond the fence we were even lucky enough to spot a deer. Jo and Max are wonderful hosts attentive, polite, and full of helpful tips and great knowledge of the area and places to visit on your stay. We can't recommend lower moorwood enough truly a gem In the devon countryside.
