  • "Fantastic apartment, clean and very well equipped."

The location is excellent and the parking for two cars is a plus. We were unable to get the majority of the side lamps to work and the main lounge lights were a bit temperamental. It seems the electrics need to be looked at. The neighbours above were sometimes noisy at night, there isn’t much sound proofing between the ground and first so ear plugs worked for that. Overall a great stay in a stunning location.

  • "This is a very nice ground floor flat, equipped to a good standard."

A small but nice garden area easily accessible was a big plus (we had very good weather). TV signal was a bit flaky with some channels coming and going, and some just did not work (all freeview). There is an excess of fire-doors, one for each bedroom, these make a loud clonking noise as they close. The only downside we had was the hill to reach the apartment, it was less than 10mins to get to the main area of Salcombe, and 15-20 mmins to get back up.

..great location but it's a big hill walk back from town so not for the elderly... Great bedding, kitchen equipment ...we would definitely go back

  • "Lovely property, could do with some extra kitchen utensils, pizza cutter, tongs."

..a note for Coast & Country. Asking guests to put away all dishes and strip beds is too much. We had a small baby and I was recovering from cancer, so alot to do. Or give us longer departure time. Not owners fault I know, but wanted to make this point.

We reported the problem and were pleased to say that a Sykes representative attended with powder within 20 minutes. The problem was dealt with and we didn’t suffer any further issues.

  • "We had another lovely stay in 3 Combehaven, which was great, thank you."

Since we last visited in 2020 however the communal recycling now includes mixed cardboard/plastics/tins - I might have got this wrong but I don’t think that info has been updated in the info inside the Apt and unfortunately we ended up binning things because we were unaware. Another communal issue is that the fastener on wooden gate outside the master bedroom window has broken so we could hear it banging in the wind all night. None of that takes away from what is a lovely and well-appointed apartment and we look forward to visiting again soon.

It made such a difference! Shame that our Tesco order did not arrive due to computers going down especially as we had ordered everything needed for my 2 year old granddaughter!

  • "We had a fantastic stay at 3 Combehaven."

It's a lovely apartment, very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The location was ideal, just a short walk to town but nice and quiet with off-road parking. It is up a steep hill - it's the nature of Salcombe but might be difficult for those with mobility issues. Having the office in Salcombe would have been a big plus had we had any problems - which we didn't. My only very minor issue was the description stated we needed to take our own towels and tea towels - which for 5 people was a lot of extra baggage - but they were actually provided. Could you change this in the property particulars? We would certainly stay here again.

  • "We had a very enjoyable holidayin a very arractive and well positioned part of Salcombe."

We found it very difficult to get on to WIfi as there were no instructions in the information book. We do think that could be remedied. We really struggled and had to phone the agents. They tried to be helpful but only in the end did we get one ipad to log in. Good saucepans etc in the kitchen but like other comments in the Visitor book, we would also add that a couple of wooden spoons would be very useful - the other spoons were so big but this is just being ultra fussy!

  • "First time staying at 3 Combehaven and we were really impressed - everything was clean and modern."

Well equipped kitchen (but needs more teaspoons!!) which is important to us as we cook a lot whilst we're away. Comfy, good quality beds. No scrimping, which is what I really like to see in a holiday cottage! So many places just chuck in old furniture, etc that they no longer want in their own house but this is definitely not the case here. Will go back.
