The property

Located in the heart of Salcombe, Coxswains Watch is a fantastic duplex apartment with its own private entrance from Fore Street.

Walk just a few yards into town, where you will find fabulous boutique shops, award-winning restaurants and fantastic pubs.

Salcombe’s quayside is a wonderful spot for crabbing with the children, whilst the tiny foot passenger ferry offers quick and easy access to the nearby sandy beaches of East Portlemouth. The property boasts an open plan layout with uninterrupted views over the famous estuary.

There is a lounge/dining/kitchen area with a wide bay window overlooking the harbour, plus a TV with Sky, a comfortable lounge suite and a dining table seating six.

There are three bedrooms in total: the first has a wide picture window offering fabulous estuary views and a super-King size bed.

The second bedroom is a twin with two 3' single beds which can be zipped together to provide a super-King size bed on request.

Bedroom three has 3' bunk beds.

There is also a luxury contemporary shower room, a family bathroom, a utility room, and a terrace with outdoor furniture.

Whilst small, the terrace is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the warm Salcombe summer evenings.

Included with your stay is a parking pass for the long-stay Creek Car Park which is only a short ten-minute walk away.

Broadband is available.

This property has been refurbished to a high standard and boasts fantastic uninterrupted views over the Salcombe estuary – it is a superb base for enjoying all Salcombe has to offer.

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
