What guests are saying
It’s a lovely property in a fantastic position.
It needs a little maintenance in some areas.
A truly unique house in a beautiful position.
As close to the beach as you can get.It does need some maintenance such as a letter box which isn’t disintegrating.Plenty of parking and a huge garden are plus points but it could do with a tray in the kitchen and something to hold the kitchen towel and although the laid table looked wonderful when we arrived we had to dismantle it to eat as no one sits down to a 3 course meal after driving 8 hours but would definitely recommend the house.
The house was beautiful and very comfortable and spacious to stay in with a well equipped kitchen.
The location is stunning and we spent lots of time in the garden, both playing games and sitting admiring the view. It was also lovely being able to walk a short distance to the beach to go swimming and snorkelling. Things to note for the owner / manager is around waste collection. There is conflicting information inside the house about bin day and I think both are incorrect as the South Hams council website says it is Monday. You should also check which wheelie bin guests should be using. Information told us to use the Green wheelie bin (which the caretaker had to come and retrieve as it was locked in the garage when we arrived). But when we put this out for the Monday collection the bin men did not empty it even though they visited the property. It looked to us as if other houses in the village were using a black wheelie bin which also seems to be what the council website suggests should be used for non-recyclable waste.
