Woodfield Coach House is a beautiful property which has all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay.

The cottage was immaculately clean and had such a cosy feeling. The garden and outdoor area was well maintained and the alpacas were an added bonus. The owner, Ollie, was on hand for any of our needs. The perfect place for a Cornwall getaway!

Woodfield Coach House is fantastic !

. The property is situated in an idyllic, exceptionally quiet and very well maintained location. The accommodation itself is immaculate and well equipped with for a comfortable stay. I was sceptical about the hot tub but I needn’t have been. It was spotlessly clean and a welcome addition to our trip. The owner was a helpful and very affable chap. The only very minor point to note is that the WiFi is slow but it does work. It’s a ‘first world’ problem that did not detract from our positive experience at the coach house. Overall, the property is fantastic and I highly recommend it. I will certainly return when I visit Cornwall again and will be recommending it to family and friends. Bravo !!

A wonderful stay, comfortable and private, with so many amenities - the owners have thought of everything!

Great location close to local attractions, and not at all far from shops. We'd love to come back - it was a home from home and would be perfect whatever the weather.

The cottage was nice and clean and everything worked as it should.

Plenty of logs and kindling for the fire. Amazing views from most of the windows and beautifully quiet and peaceful. Hot tub is a bonus. Everything supplied that you could possibly think of. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Beautiful, cosy cottage.

We loved our stay here, the cottage is absolutely lovely and the owners extra touches and attention to detail add to the stay. The alpacas are delightful and feeding them was definitely a highlight of the week. The cottage location is also good within easy reach of some lovely walks and local pubs. What a stunning cottage, in a beautiful location.

It’s been beautifully restored, showing real craftsmanship throughout. We were struggling to narrow down our choice for a cottage in Cornwall - reading a review mentioning the alpacas tipped it for us, and we’re so grateful that it did. Ollie, the owner, was so helpful and easy to reach if needed, feeding the alpacas daily was fun and even the weather gave us the odd break. Perfect location to be able to explore in all directions, well appointed throughout and the comfiest beds in the world. Our first trip to Cornwall; it won’t be the last and we’ll certainly be back to the coach house. Simply stunning.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in.

Spotlessly clean with everything you could need provided. Excellent location, nice and quiet if you just want to get off grid but also close enough to plenty of places if you want to get out and explore. The hot tub was great and it was fun feeding the alpacas! The welcome gifts were much appreciated and a lovely touch. Was nice to meet Ollie and Becky who were easily contactable on the rare occasion we needed anything. Highly recommended, we had a wonderful break.

Outside space is so peaceful with different areas to sit. Hot tub an added bonus. High quality cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Visitor book is a testament to how many return each year.

Simply stunning cottage….

.Ollie was so welcoming and even helped when we needed a parcel delivered! Extremely comfortable cottage with everything you could ever need for a home away from home. The jacuzzi was wonderful to relax in at the end of a long walk on Dartmoor. We couldn’t recommend any higher.

What a lovely peaceful and beautiful little corner of the world this is, the coach house is tastefully decorated and furnished, the bedding and beds were so comfortable and the hot tub was perfect.

This place offers peace and tranquility and I cannot recommend it enough, this has been a wonderful break and the owner, Olly was very kind in providing a welcome hamper, I will be back, what a lovely find this has been. One of the nicest places I have stayed in.

The coach house is such a peaceful retreat!

This was our first stay and we will definitely be back. The house is very spacious with the added benefit of a hot tub and visits from the alpacas. The welcome treats were a lovely surprise. Ollie is right on hand if there are any issues but we didn’t have any problems. Beds are very comfy and the kitchen is fitted with everything you need just like home from home. The garden area is beautiful to just sit and relax, enjoy breakfast or an afternoon glass of fizz.

We had a great stay at the Coach House, it had everything we needed for or trip and made a great base to explore Cornwall.

The owner was very nice and the welcome gifts were a super treat when we arrived. I can't recommend this place enough.

The location of the cottage is great, quiet, dark and restful. Fabulous open fire - loads of wood provided, bed soooooo comfortable and hosts really lovely. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

Lovely cottage - clean, homely, cosy and welcoming. Great little touches like Scones and Prosecco on arrival. Location allowed good accessibility around Cornwall. This was my second visit to this cottage and its still as amazing as the first time.

The beds were so comfortable and the super king size bed was amazing, the kitchen well equipped, loved the shampoo and conditioner used this brand before and it was lovely to find this available. Loved the welcome gifts. The whole cottage is welcoming, spotlessness clean and well maintained. I found the hot tub a bit chilly for me but that is a personally choice i love things boiling hot. The kitchen was well equipped. This is the best cottage ive stayed at using Sykes cottages. Can you please buy other cottages and put all over Cornwall please. You can see how much love and care has gone into this property to make is a 5* accommodation.

2nd visit to Woodfield Coach House.

Great central location so meant easy to get to North and South coasts and further into Cornwall. Supermarkets nearby. Lovely peaceful surroundings and we love coming here as family. Kids loved exploring and saying hello to the Alpacas. Property is well maintained and clean. Friendly owners. We will definitely come again

This was the second time that we have stayed at The Coachhouse and on our last night here we booked again for next year.

The environment is just stunning and so quiet and relaxing. We have never stayed anywhere so clean and comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable so a good night’s sleep was had by all. The hot tub is private and a real luxury. The welcome pack was generous and delicious. The kitchen is well equipped and all of this combined with the cottage’s convenient location for Looe, Polperro and Fowey made for a wonderful holiday. Liskeard station is not far away giving easy access to other parts of the county. The owner is really helpful, approachable and welcoming - thank you for a wonderful stay and we will see you next year!

Lovely and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay and meeting the alpacas. Outdoor space was lovely and couldn't ask for anything else. We all loved our cornwall holiday!

We have had an amazing time at this lovely property, a real home from home with everything we could have wanted included for a really relaxing stay.

We loved using the hot tub in the evenings and the fact that rules and regulations were not posted all over it as we have seen in previous places we have stayed at. We ate at home more than usual because it was so lovely and easy to cook in the well-equipped kitchen. We loved meeting the cheeky alpacas next door too who were quite happy to come and say hi . We had to use the heating (in July!) a couple of times when the temperature dropped and this was very easy and efficient and we were soon feeling very toasty. We can see why it gets very booked up - everything was perfect.

Loved the hot tub and it's private location. The super king bed was just so comfy , we have had a wonderfully peaceful time staying there. Would definitely highly recommend this cottage to other travellers.

This is an excellent property, very comfortable and clean.

The pictures are exactly as is, no wear and tear at all, its utterly superb. Everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday is supplied. Its blissfully quiet, a perfect place to relax and enjoy your holiday and so close to an abundance of attractions.

We stayed at the Coach house for our honeymoon & it was absolutely perfect in every way!

The owner Ollie is nearby if needed, friendly & helpful on arrival & departure but respectful of privacy in between. Very lovely welcome gifts of fizz & afternoon tea which we very much enjoyed. The property is spotless & very comfortable. We cooked most days & everything we needed was there. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in & watching the alpacas & squirrels. We will definitely be rebooking, can't wait to go back & recapture our week of absolute peace & quiet!

Situated a couple of miles from Liskeard along a short unmade road this property is ideally places to explore the surrounding area.

It has an excellent well equipped kitchen,spacious living area and two very well appointed bedrooms both with very comfortable double king sized beds which made for a good nights sleep. Add to that a shower downstairs and bath with shower over upstairs and this cottage has all you require and more. The addition of the hot tub was an added bonus as was well utilised during our stay. The property was clean throughout and should cater for your every need. The owner Ollie lives close by if there are any issues to resolve and certainly makes you feel welcome with a very nice welcome pack…… The only thing we had a small issue with was the wifi which did drop out on occasions - nothing major and certainly detract from our enjoyment We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property …. To be recommended

We had an amazing week here!

Everything about it was just perfect, lovely surroundings, the best bed I've ever slept in, the best sofa I've ever sat in, a fantastic kitchen.... literally breathtaking

This is a delightful property, clean, beautifully presented, with lovely personal touches.

Welcome wine/scones/milk, tea and coffee etc so lovely and so welcome after a long drive. Readily available logs for the woodburner for a cosy evening in and a well stocked kitchen. We have been visiting this area for years to visit friends and this is the first time we found this property- I don’t think we will be looking to stay anywhere else now when this has so much.

Outstanding cozy country cottage with hot tub is a big plus!

The cottage was lovely.

Very comfortable and well equipped.Lovely touches like gorgeous toiletries,soft towels,flowers and not forgetting the scones,jam,cream and Prosecco. Everything was immaculate.The only issues we had were the lighting in the living room and the TV was too small.

Woodfield Coach House is in a class of its own, it was just lovely and we had a thoroughly relaxing stay.

The bed was sooooo comfortable, I took photos of the make etc so I can update our bedding at home! Ollie, the owner was very welcoming and helpful which was useful as we had not been to the area before. There are only 2 things I would like to mention, perhaps a slightly larger TV? Also, the path to the hot tub is gravel so maybe either recommend visitors bring suitable foot wear or an alternative surface? If you are looking for somewhere amazing to stay in a beautiful part of Cornwall, then look no further

We are walking to South West Coast Path at the moment and chose Woodfield Coach House to stay at whilst we did our latest section.

So glad we did - I don't actually think the photos do it justice. Firstly position wise it is up a private track just off a main road so feels like you are miles from anywhere at the property but equally it makes getting about very easy too being close to Liskeard and lots of supermarkets too. We had a lovely bottle of prosecco, scones, cream, jam, tea and milk left as a welcoming pack. The coach house has been decorated to a really high standard - a lot of thought has obviously been put into it. A really comfortable place to stay and explore from and the setting is just lovely. We could not fault it. Ollie, the owner, popped around to see if we had everything we needed and was very helpful. Would have no hesitation in recommending it and would certainly be very happy to stay there again. Fabulous property!

This cottage was absolutely perfect!

! The beds were comfortable, the whole cottage was very well equipped and was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. The welcome pack was delicious and fabulous. The owner was very pleasant and easy to contact. The gardens and the neighbouring alpacas were a hit with our son and we used the hot tub daily. We had the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had and enjoyed visiting nearby Looe and Polperro - we hope to book this cottage again in the future.

This is a 5 star holiday cottage, the owners have thought of absolutely everything.

Spotlessly clean and equipped. We had a warm welcome with goodies to enjoy. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud! Had the best nights sleep. The sofa is comfortable too. We loved the hot tub and log burner and the owners topped up with logs when we had used the supply. After our days out and about it felt like coming home, we didn't want to leave. To note there is a couple of supermarkets just a couple of Mike's from thd coach house. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent location for a relaxing get away.

Nicely situated for days out & walks on the moors & The South West Coast path. Good facilities, clean & tidy. Lovely hot tub to relax in after a day's walking. The wine & cream tea that greeted us on arrival was a very nice & welcome touch. Full central heating was good but also plenty of logs for the wood burner which made it cosy in the evenings. Highly recommended.

Our second visit and we loved our winter stay as much as our summer one.

We were completely enchanted by Woodfield Coach House!

It is hands-down the nicest and most tasteful accommodation we have ever stayed in! We loved everything about it! The cosy living room with log-burner, the cute well equipped kitchen, the gorgeous bedrooms with beautiful views, the lovely bathrooms, and of course the fabulous, completely private hot-tub and the funny little alpacas in the next field...We could go on and on!!! Ollie the owner was really friendly and on-hand should we have needed anything. The delightful welcome gifts were much appreciated and we enjoyed drinking a glass of prosecco in the hot tub at night watching shooting stars...simply magical. We were blessed with dry weather so enjoyed many coastal walks all just a 30 minute or less drive away. So many pretty places to visit, such as Polperro, Charlestown, and Fowey. We simply can't wait to come back next year!! If you want a cosy, winter break in quiet beautiful surroundings, book Woodfield Coach House you won't be disappointed!

We had a fantastic week staying at the Coach House and we couldn't have asked for more.

The property was clean and tidy and everything that you would need had been thought of. The welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch and much appreciated after a long journey.

Each day we were torn between traveling and visiting the attractions in Cornwall and simply chilling out at the property and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Immaculate throughout the property. Nice touch of scones, cream, jam, wine etc on our arrival. Comfy beds and pillows. Beautiful, peaceful setting and we were extra lucky that the sun shone all week. We would definitely recommend the cottage and definitely in the future re-book.

Property immaculate with a fantastic high-specification finish. It had everything you could wish for and the attention to detail show by the owner is clear to see. All-in-all, making for a fantastic holiday. Kids loved the hot tub and alpacas to name but a few highlights. Would highly recommend!

A very comfortable stay in this clean and well appointed cottage.

The location was a little tricky to find first time when arriving in the middle of the night. What3words would help: ///prevents.limelight.entertainer The shared access road is in need of maintenance. Lots of local information about what to see, do and eat during our stay was provided. Also there were plenty of board games, DVDs and books to read for when the weather was inclement and a good sized hot tub perfect for whatever the weather. We would happily return again. Many thanks. Stylish, clean accommodation, a wonderful hot tub, resident alpacas and chickens and warm, welcoming hosts. We were greeted with Prosecco and scones and honestly the most comfortable bed ever. We’d recommend a thousand times over.

Great comfy beds. Lovely styling with throws and cushions. The setting was idyllic. Thank you for the coffee pods, cream tea and organic prosecco. We loved Looe and Plymouth. Perfect wind down place to stay.

Very comfortable a home from home, clean and well equipped, location excellent for getting to local interests, sat in the hot tub our first night under the stars, just brilliant.

There is a decking area with a fire pit and benches ideal for autumn nights, and a glass of wine to sit and enjoy the scenery. Can say that this is one of the best holidays homes we have stayed in, we arrived to a welcome of scones, jam, teas and prosecco and a pint of milk in the fridge, how thoughtful thankyou very much.

The cottage is beautifully finished & very comfortable.

The welcome pack was a really nice (delicious scones) & the vegetable trug from Ollie's garden was impressive & very tasty. There is a very friendly hen & curious alpacas. All-in-all, a very good holiday.

Wow!

What an amazing cottage. We have stayed in a few cottages now but this one was stunning. Wonderful location, really peaceful but with excellent road links. Cottage had everything you could want, well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge and the best beds ever. Even the travel cot had a mattress so our little one slept well to! Attention to detail was brilliant and sitting in the hot tub under the stars was perfect. Can totally recommend it. Worst bit was leaving!

Fabulous cottage with everything we needed and more.

Off the beaten track and beautifully quiet. There’s even a very friendly chicken who kept coming to say hi. Would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants peace and quiet in luxury.

We enjoyed everything about the holiday.

The cottage was 5star so comfortable, relaxing and welcoming we did not want to leave. As I said in the visitor book if my wife and I were to build a house, woodfield coach house would be it. If you want to chill and relax this is the place for you. Or there of plenty of places to visit and things to do a short distance away. Whoever visits will fall in love with the cottage I am sure.

Wood field Coach House exceeded our expectations.

It is a beautifully renovated and modernised property, with lovely bespoke timber features and high quality fittings throughout. Both bedrooms are attractive and spacious, the kitchen and bathroom are excellent, and the living area is comfortable and enticing. The outside spaces are also lovely, the eating area above the property is totally private with views across to the hills, and the front garden is a real sun trap. All in all, Woodfield Coach House represents excellent value for money, we all felt it came across like a more expensive holiday let than it is. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the hot tub is a bit small for four people - you have to be good friends to all fit in it! Many thanks, Mark

The holiday Cottages was the best we have stayed in yet it had everything you needed and is set in beautiful surroundings.

The hot tub was just what was need after a day out .

Well equipped small barn conversion.

This place has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - decent wood burning stove, dishwasher, comfortable beds and a hot tub. It's far enough off the beaten track to be quiet, but near enough for a shortish drive to the supermarkets for provisions. We were lucky to have clear weather with startlingly clear skies at night. Highly recommended.

We had a really wonderful week at Woodfield coach house I could not recommend it more.

The property is immaculate and beautifully decorated, we enjoyed the log burner and the hot tub we also loved the animals especially the friendly chicken. We were greeted with lovely welcome gifts; fresh scones with clotted cream, organic prosecco, tea, milk and eggs and beautiful flowers. We had robes for the hot tub and the beds were very comfortable. There is lots to see and do nearby from beautiful coastal walks to eden project (should drive). Really is worth a visit we will defiantly return.

Woodfield was the cleanest and best equipped cottage we have stayed in. Hot tub was great and all the little extras the owner thinks of really made for a relaxing time. Couldn’t leave a comment in the visitor book because we forgot a pen!

Every little detail has been thought through from the welcome basket to the hot tub....we left feeling refreshed and ready to face the world....and ever so slightly down hearted to be leaving but in equal measure promising ourselves we will return to this Cornish haven of peace and tranquility

This is a stunning Coach House that has been converted to the highest standards by the owners.

The furnishings and attention to detail was exceptional. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. The standard of cleanliness was spotless. Absolutely loved staying at this property, it's location was perfect for visiting the many shores of Cornwall and into Devon too. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

It was very well fitted out, especially the comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. The owner provided a much appreciated cream tea and bottle of fizz for when we arrived and checked to see that all was well once we'd settled in. The area has plenty of interesting places to visit and there are a good selection of local books and maps provided in the house. The small hot tub was lovely, especially at night with the lights on listening to the owls nearby and looking at the stars. There is a long bumpy track up to the house but well worth it! Highly recommended for a relaxing family holiday.

The cottage is total perfection.

I have never stayed in such beautiful, so superbly well equipped holiday home. All the appliances and furniture are of a very high standard. I would strongly recommend this incredibly cosy, spacious luxury accommodation. Warning, you will sleep for ever. Bliss.

Just returned after spending a week over Christmas at this glorious, clean, well equipped cottage, and we didn’t want to come home.

The cottage is located in a secluded position,alongside the owners property, at the end of a long bumpy lane( not suitable for low vehicles) but is well worth it, if you don’t mind the muddy car and very slow approach. We immediately felt at home in this beautiful property, very modern and homely, we especially loved the log burner on a rainy winter Christmas night, and there was a large stock of free wood. The hot tub was just big enough for 3 people, but a lovely start to Christmas morning. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated, and my word, what comfortable beds, my daughter has already put an order in for new mattress, duvet and pillows to try and replicate her experience. Being away for Christmas, and eating in for the whole week, and with Christmas baking it was essential to have a well equipped kitchen, and we weren’t disappointed. It was lovely to have every utensil you could think of, rolling pin, ice-cream scoop, pizza cutter... they had it. Even had a tassimo coffee machine which was lovely. Loved the welcome package, sparkling wine, biscuits, tea and some home made mince pies. And we made full use of their selection of board games over the Christmas period, we are actually off to buy our own of one of them today. I loved the book that the owners leave asking for anything that has been broken or isn’t quite working right, and it all looks like it’s kept on top of and repaired ASAP . We have stayed in properties and think this could be better etc...but don’t like to say, we just wouldn’t return, so it’s nice to know your listened to. We will definately be returning to this property, we loved being here for Christmas, but would like to visit in the better weather to explore places of interest and beaches, as the rain stopped us on this visit, we just managed a trip to Plymouth, which is lovely for shopping. Don’t like to share this property but really think it deserves a review 10/10. Thank you for a fabulous enjoyable stay , will be back .
