  • "We have stayed here previously in a different lodge no issues at all this year work being done right outside for a few days, apologised but not the best on the hottest days of the year unable to sit outside."

Although a nice lodge it was spoilt a little by this experience my son is autistic and loud noises affect him a grinder was going for some time. A leak appeared on the last day near sink, no internet for a couple of days these things happen. Luckily I have family who live local it was a nice stay but marred by the first few days disruption.

Thank you for taking the time to complete your review, we are sorry for the mild disturbance during your stay, a new wall had to built for the neighbouring lodge. Thank you so much for notifying us of the small leak in the en-suite, a washer had come loose on the waste pipe and we were able to fix this before it got any worse. Unfortunately the wifif did go down across the whole site for 1 day, this was out of our control as a network error. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

There's also a racecourse where National Hunt racing takes place from spring until autumn, with craft fayres during the winter. The National Trust houses of Bradley Manor, Coleton Fishacre and Compton Castle and many others are well worth a visit, whilst the highlight of your stay will undoubtedly be the stunning beaches around Torquay and the many hidden coves such as Meadfoot, Oddicombe and further afield the pretty Ness Cove.
