We enjoyed our stay at wisteria chalet very much.

Everything you need, you will find there. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

The property was nicely kept.

We had a lovely ontvangst and everything was in the property. Anything you could ask rd for was in the Chalet. Lovely stay.

We had a fantastic holiday at Wisteria Chalet.

The sunny weather was brilliant and we were really sad that it went so quickly. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything we could possibly need, including a very nice ‘welcome pack’ of bread, butter, milk, eggs, biscuits, jam and marmalade. Our hosts John and Linda were so welcoming and helpful upon our arrival, particularly going out of their way to ensure that all was fine and even making sure that the Wi-Fi was working properly for us on our first day. We would love to stay at Wisteria Chalet again when we next visit lovely Somerset.

This was our second stay at Wisteria chalet.

We love its location that is accessible to all the attractions around Somerset, by car or train. The accommodation has been updated since our last visit and is comfortable, clean and well maintained. The welcome pack is much appreciated with plenty of local shops and eateries to satisfy a lengthy stay.

Ideal for couples - has everything you could wish for.

Plenty of cupboard space to put clothes etc away. Comfortable bed and sofa. The kitchen had everything you could wish for with access to all appliances that you have at home. Loved the walk in shower. Linda and John are wonderful hosts , there if you need them but leave you alone to enjoy your holiday. Great place to stay and explore somerset.

2nd stay at wisteria chalet,and it didn't disappoint us,the hosts john and Linda were very welcoming and friendly and extremely helpful,the chalet itself was very clean,tidy and very comfortable,slept well on the comfortable mattress,the kitchen contained everything needed to cook a great meal.

The welcome pack of bread,milk,butter,teabags and much more was much appreciated,booking a holiday or break here will not disappoint you it will leave you relaxed and will book again everytime I visit weston super mare,and ty for being great hosts,would give you ten stars if I could

I thought this was really excellent holiday accommodation.

It really does have everything you need. Nice clean modern kitchen and bathroom. All of the appliances, etc were very straightforward to use, wifi was really great, lovely welcome pack and useful email information pack couple of nights before I went. It is private and secluded and the owners who were lovely are there if you need them. Nice and peaceful setting. Excellent bicycle storage. I came here for a cycling holiday and this part of Somerset is lovely to explore. I would definitely stop here again.

This cottage is very well equipped and offers great value for money. Location is great for exploring this part of Somerset. The welcome pack was very nice as always.

Unfortunately the chalet although very clean was rather cluttered with owners belongings there was a nice vanity unit in the bathroom but it was full of cleaning items we had to put our stuff on the floor there was a nice new kitchen but the washer was very dirty in the conditioner tray and badly rusted out side heating and DVD player was very hard to understand but the bedroom was not very good old fashioned furniture the drawers were hard to open and the bed very small mattress badly needs replacing could be a very nice place with attention to detail sorry will not be rebooking

Wisteria Chalet was delightful.

It had a cosy warmth which was appealing, coming in from the cool temperatures outside. The owners, John and Linda, were very welcoming (an impressive array of goodies to get us going) but they were also discrete. They have thought of everything we might need, so the chalet is very well equipped. The car parking and bike storage were first class. The location appealed to us with walking in the Mendips and on Exmoor, wetlands nearby which are wonderful for wildlife and great for flat cycling, beaches only a couple of miles away and interesting places like Wells, Axbridge and Cheddar to visit. Overall this was an excellent cottage choice which exceeded our expectations.

A very comfy chalet to spend time at, and is within spitting distance of a nearby cider brewery with a shop to keep you topped up with cider and foodstuffs.

Very easy to get to the amenities if you don't mind the country lanes on the way back. The hosts are very welcoming and pleasant and provided us with a small hamper as a welcoming gift. Well worth going to again

Lovely comfortable property.

Very clean and well equipped. I initially had a problem getting onto the wi-fi, but Linda was extremely quick to help out. The welcome pack was very well received, thank you. The owners were were friendly, and only a stroll or phone call away, if needed. I liked the fact that there is ample parking, and you are well placed for many local attractions. Would I recommend this property? In a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay at Wisteria Chalet.

The Chalet was as described and has all you need for a comfortable stay. We arrived on time after a long drive and we were grateful to find a very generous welcome pack. The Chalet is in a very secluded and quiet area, yet is on the edge of town and close to all road links, particularly the M5. We met the lovely owners John and Linda who are just the nicest people, helpful and knowledgeable if you need information on places to visit or eat. John sent me a pre-arrival email, which really tells you everything you need to know about your stay, I found this very useful. John has a large collection of DVDs, in the games room next to the Chalet and has listed them in the email. For the beach lovers, Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare are within easy reach, as are towns for shopping sightseeing and eating. A Cider Farm with a Farm Shop and restaurant is literally round the corner. We were out every day visiting towns and markets, some sunny days, some, not so. A must is to visit the Cheddar Gorge and the village and shops there. Barry & Sue.

Good location for access to Somerset tourist locations

The chalet was deceptively spacious and had more than we needed in the kitchen etc.

A generous welcome pack from the friendly hosts was a delight, if the weather had been bad we would certainly have made use of the games, jigsaws, dvds and books in the barn but we were blessed with very hot weather and used the chalet to cool down and relax after days out. Watchfield was a lovely spot for exploring Somerset and has the cider farm with shop and the Watchfield Inn for food nearby. All in all a lovely base for our much needed relaxing break and would highly recommend staying here. Many thanks to the friendly, helpful and kind hosts - Linda and John.

It was comfortable and cosy and very well equipped for self-catering.

A lovely place to stay, and lovely owners there if needed. Ideal for a couple, but does have a good quality bed settee. Space becomes a bit of an issue when it’s open. Everything you would ever need for cooking. Microwave and oven. Ample parking and nearby pub and Cider Company, offering cafe and well stocked Shop. A cosy comfortable Chalet. We will be back.

Ideal accommodation base in order for us to explore The Levels, although we could have done with a boat at times!

Very clean and well equipped for self catering. Warm and comfortable. Best of all stocked with lots of tea, coffee, milk, eggs butter, jams...even a lovely bottle of red wine and gluten free bread and cookies. Superb. Nice pub, Cider farm and restaurant walking distance. Train station close by for direct train to Bristol for a day. All big supermarket very close. Chalet 5 mins from motorway junction...great location for exploring a big county.

The chalet was very clean and comfortable.

It is ideally situated for all the attractions of Somerset by road and rail. There are many local attractions and places to eat. The welcome pack was a nice surprise and local information very helpful. Would definitely recommend to others and likely to come back again.

Warm and comfortable and very well equipped with plenty of storage. Well located for both the Somerset levels and the coast. Also close to M5 and supermarkets. Friendly hosts who provided basic essentials including milk, bread and eggs!

Very welcoming host.

Extensive welcoming pack and many extras left. Lots of books and DVDs made available. The fan was a real bonus in view of the high temperatures. All in all a real home from home.

Well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable, a lovely place to stay. Linda and John are lovely hosts and the goodies they provided on our arrival were just what was needed after a long journey. Ideally situated for lots of tourist attractions and close to the beaches as well.

Whiseria cottage is the best we have stayed in.

John and Linda were very friendly and helpful. On arrival we found milk, eggs, bread, wine and a variety of goodies, such a lovely surprise. The cottage is in a lovely setting and we shall be recommending it to our friends.

A very warm welcome including a bottle of wine, bread, eggs and milk. Great location. Short drive to the beach. Pubs within walking distance and Richs cider farm a few hundred yards away who make lovely breakfast and roast. Perfect

We have had a lovely break at Wisteria Chalet.

A lovely quiet place. The welcome pack is amazing! The owners were away on holiday while we were there but they left an extremely comprehensive list of things to do etc. The 'Shed' is unbelievable - filled with games, books, freezer - all you could want and more. We would certainly go back.

This is a lovely quiet location with good access to all the local attractions and we are giving serious consideration to coming back again.

A very warm welcome from Linda to a cosy very warm chalet.

A lovely collection of goodies provided and all basics there from tea coffee etc to wine and shortbread. This has to be the best equipped self catering accommodation we have stayed in from USB points in the bedside lamps to hand held food mixer. The chalet is not ultra modern but very clean and comfortable which suited us perfectly. We were able to store our bikes in a lockable workshop which also housed a fantastic selection of books. Linda and John have thought of everything. Ideal cycling area and also easy access to National Trust properties by car. 10 minute walk to pub and Richs cider farm and very good restaurant. Will definitely return.

Had a lovely 6 night stay, Linda met us on arrival and couldn’t do enough for us, some lovely touches when you’ve just done a 3 hour travel, cottage was plenty big enough and had everything we needed very clean and tidy, an added bonus for the Netflix so my little one could watch tv.

Would definitely recommend not to far from beaches around. Will be back soon Thankyou

Linda & John are lovely hosts & can't do enough to make you welcome. Wisteria was fully equipped & really comfortable. If you are looking for a holiday where you feel comfortable straight away & is in an area where there is plenty to do then this is the place.

The chalet has everything you need, in a lovely area, handy to visit many places in Somerset. Would certainly recommend and will be visiting again sometime

Clean and friendly, we had a lovely time.

I stayed at Wisteria Chalet with my 87 year old mother while she was getting a new bathroom.

The chalet was perfect; warm and cosy (it was February) ground floor accommodation and a walk-in shower. The chalet was equipped with everything we needed and more, some welcome groceries and a bottle of wine. We both slept well on the bed and the sofa bed. Chalet owners were very helpful and friendly and the location is good for visiting lots of places by car (e.g. Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, Cheddar, Glastonbury). We didn't use the separate games room and library but it looked great. All in all I would thoroughly recommend Wisteria Chalet.

This is a little gem of a place to use for a base to explore the surrounding countryside and coastal areas.

You can experience the friendly welcome from your hosts.

This cottage was great, no real complaints, I give it almost top marks.

The only downside for us was that the bed was uncomfortable FOR US, to others it would probably be ok. We both have dodgy backs and very rarely find comfortable beds in holiday accommodation and that is the only reason this cottage lost a mark as far as we were concerned. The owners have thought of everything, from welcoming goodies to a barn full of entertainment. Would definitely recommend it.

Just had an amazing week.

John and Linda were really great. I'd spoken with John about key pick up, and during our conversation it came up that we were celebrating our anniversary. We missed our 25th last year due to Covid, so we were looking forward to a break and getting away. On arrival we met John and Linda who wished us all the best for our anniversary and Linda had baked us an amazing cake to celebrate.The wine went down well too! Such a nice thought, thankyou once again. There were also other essentials such as tea, coffee, milk, eggs,butter and bread. Got to say the photo's don't do this place justice. Everything you need is there, and more. There's even a great selection of books to choose from, and table football, darts and snooker in a separate building. The chalet is in a great quiet location, and wow it's great for sleeping. We loved it and hope to get back some time. You can't go wrong staying here.

Our hosts went above and beyond our expectations the Chalet was so great and the equipment far out weighed our expectations it was really brilliant the best equipped accommodation we have ever been too

Wisteria chalet was perfect and Linda and John were superb hosts.

Lovely friendly helpful people. The "goodies and essentials" left for us were greatly appreciated especially the wine, scones, jam and clotted cream. Yum yum. We walked, cycled did a lot of sight seeing, ate a lot of ice cream and had great meals out. A great holiday all round.

Wisteria chalet was everything we could ask or.

The owners, John & Linda were so friendly & welcoming. There was ample parking, pretty outside space & the chalet itself was bright, clean & very comfortable. The owners had provided a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, bread, eggs etc, plus a cream tea & a bottle of wine which we thoroughly enjoyed! This really was a home from home with everything you could possibly need being provided.

The welcome at Wisteria Chalet was superb!

Linda and John did everything to make our arrival completely without stress. We could settle in with a cup of tea (everything provided!) a cream tea (everything provided), plus bread, butter jams ...everything so that we could stay in the chalet for 24 hours without venturing out for basics. There is nothing to criticise and everything to praise. We have NEVER been to a self-catering accomodation where the provision of household items, has been unstinting, thoughtful, generous and PERFECT!!! We will return...again and again, for our holiday was brilliant...made so by our ergonomic environment, geographical environment, and the atmosphere of respect, cordiality and warmth which surpassed any expectations we might have had. I would recommend this Wisteria Chalet experience to everyone...but not too many please as we want some space for our next visit. On a sour note. We were not impressed at having to pay a 'booking fee', when I am certain that owners of properties also have to pay a premium to be listed? Shame on you Sykes!

As other people have said, the photos don't do this chalet justice.

It is quite roomy with plenty of space to put things. The owners and friendly and helpful and the collection of toys in the shed space, for want of a better phrase, kept our toddler very entertained. Well located for exploring different parts of Somerset, the area itself is very quiet. Very much recommended.

Linda and John were very nice people, and the chalet is in a good spot for a relaxing time.

Wisteria Chalet is an ideal base for exploring the North Somerset area.

Less than 30mins by car to the seaside resorts of Burnham, Brean and Weston and about the same to Cheddar and Wookey Hole. It is undoubtedly one of the best equipped holiday homes I've stayed in with absolutely everything you might need. Additionally the owners Linda and John provide you with a most generous welcome pack, including a cream tea and a very nice bottle of wine. If I were to return to this area again this would be top of my list of properties in which to stay.

The whole experience was brilliant.

The chalet was perfect warm very comfortable and everything you could need. There was plenty of essential food and milk also a lovely bottle of wine ready waiting for us. The owners were more than friendly and helpful.

Wonderful little chalet, bigger inside than it looks with everything you could possibly need and more.

Spacious living area and comfortable bed. Owners provide basics such as eggs, cream tea, wine, teas, coffees and a warm welcome then leave you to it ☺️. WiFi was poor until we found a "booster" plug in a drawer under the TV. All in all a lovely place to stay and close to everywhere.

The property is in an ideal location and was perfect for us as we planned to cycle around the area. The chalet is well equipped with everything needed for a relaxed self catering holiday and we were delighted by the "welcome goodies" which awaited us on arrival. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. If we travel to this area again we will definitely check to see whether Wisteria Chalet is available.

Property had much more space than we anticipated , so many extras for everyday use whilst staying .

Beautiful little chalet cosy inside.

Small private garden with table and a bbq. There is a games room for you to use with small snooker table, football table , darts loads of board games to use plus an excercise bike if you want a work out. Not to far from Burnham on sea. , brean and weston. Would recommend a stay here.

Wisteria Chalet was a lovely place to spend a week.

Very well equipped and provisioned. The hosts left a cream tea, wine,milk, bread and eggs for us. They live next door so on hand if anything is needed but respected our privacy. The chalet was very clean and had a very good shower. It is in a great location for accessing great places and walks. There is a train station 1.5 miles away and Bristol, Bath and Taunton are all easily accessible. Our only slightly negative comment was the WiFi was not very strong and only worked in one area of the chalet - this could be remedied with an extender in the chalet.

HAVE STAYED AT WISTERIA CHALET IN THE PAST IT IS LOCATED IN A NICE QUIET VILLAGE BUT WITHIN EASY REACH OF LOCAL PLACES TO VISIT, THE CHALET IS ALWAYS LOVELY AND CLEAN AND THE OWNERS ARE VERY PLEASENT TO TALK TO, THE ONLY THING THAT COULD BE IMPROVED ON IN MY OPINION IS THE SIZE OF THE TV IN THE LIVING ROOM AS MOST PEOPLE WOULD EXPECT A SLIGHTLY BIGGER SCREEN SIZE THESE DAY'S ALTHOUGH THIS WOULD NOT PUT ME OFF BOOKING THIS PROPERTY AGAIN AS OVERALL IT IS EXCELLENT.

With a garden area at the front to sit out in and horses in the field behind at a distance my morning coffee was wonderful.

When we arrived the cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. A visit from the friendly owner to ensure all was well and our break had begun. Close to the beach we spent happy hours at Brean beach, owned by the National Trust it has the downs to walk on and even feral goats, who keep their distance. For those who want to travel further Wells, Glastonbury and Exmoor are in easy reach. The chalet was cosy and comfortable. Being on bottle gas the cooker had a knack to getting it going, turn the knob, push the ignition switch at the end then hold in for a little while. We had a good week.

A very comfortable chalet, with all the comforts of home, very well equipped with all essentials.

A lovely welcome pack to arrive too, which was very much appreciated. Located only about 2 miles from Burnham on Sea, & in touching distance from all other resorts. We had a jammed packed week, but a nice quiet "home" to relax in when we got back to base. Would recommend to friends & family.

Wisteria Chalet was a lovely holiday chalet and the goodies in the fridge were entirely unexpected.

We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The chalet is conveniently placed near the motorway junction yet far enough away from it not to be heard. We spent the week driving to places connected with my ancestors and also visited other family members but there are lots of other attractions all within easy reach which unfortunately we did not have time to visit.We can thoroughly recommend this gem on the Somerset Levels.

If your looking for a quiet location after a day out.

this is a place to stay. The hosts were very welcoming. Everthing you need is in the chalet. The adjacent barn has a pool table and a darts board. If you get a little bored in the evening.

Mr & Mrs James are a charming couple and made us very welcome.

They also did their best to deal with any minor problems we encountered.

The owners were a very nice couple and went beyond their duties to help us.

Cottage had everything you could possibly need and that was a great help as we were on bicycles and limited with luggage.

Wistera cottage was beautiful.

Very clean very well equipped. It's in a lovely quiet location and it's so easy to visit places from there, close to M5 but still in the country. Has a lovely garden perfect for relaxing from the crowd. It's 7 miles from Western and plenty of food shops in driving distance. The best self catering accommodation i have stayed in. Will definitely be back to finish visiting the sites. All in all felt like my little home for the week lovely
