Barn Cottage.
Dobwalls. Cornwall. Last minute booking, decided we needed a break. The cottage is down a quiet single track lane with passing places, saying that we only once met something coming towards us during our 8 day stay. We were greeted by Karen, on arrival and shown around the cottage, it was lovely and clean, nicely decorated, also given some information about the village, were the local pub was and also the Spar shop. We had a bottle of wine and also a bottle of milk, which are nice touches. The cottage was as descibed , and ideal for the two of us, it had heaters in the bedroom and the kitchen/dinning/ lounge, heated towel rail in the bathroom, and plenty of hot water. The sound of the trains is not a problem, not really noticing most of them. The walk to the pub at night was fine took us about 15 minutes, we would just recommend taking a torch. Karen & Barry were both friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. If we were visiting the same area again we would definatley return to this accommodation.
Lovely place to stay with garage for parking!
On first evening I had difficulty finding the Cottage in the dark as I drove past the right turn after BridgeEnd Cottage! Maybe white sign on tree would help as you have to go under arch bridge once you turn right from the narrow lane! I really enjoyed my stay - had all facilities as advertised! Very easy to explore most of Cornwall! Will be back.Thank you for all your help Karen & Barry! Kind Regards Yami x
Great place to stay.
