We had a wonderful time at westward ho !

The accommodation was everything you would want. Lovely beds very comfortable,lovely lounge and breathtaking views from the very large windows in bedroom and lounge.

This was a lovely apartment and we had a great week in Westwood Ho!

, our first visit to this area. What a wonderful view from the apartment window and lucky to have the same view from our bedroom window upstairs as well. The apartment is very well equipped and we ate most meals in the apartment enjoying the constantly changing views. We had a trip to RHS Rosemoor and national trust property Arlington house. Enjoyed a walk to Appledore. However there were a few little niggles with the property which would not put me off coming back to the property but feel I need to highlight them. 1. The window in the spare room would not shut. I reported this on the day of arrival but the problem was not fixed. Seems to have been a problem since 2021,according to the visitors comments. 2. Our bedroom carpet was dirty which I also reported on arrival as I didn't want to be responsible for a cleaning bill. 3. The balcony glass and patio windows were really dirty and detracts from the lovely view. In fact we cleaned them ourselves. 4. Vacuum cleaner did not work. 5. Spare fob didn't work which was a nuisance. We just felt the whole property needs a deep clean. I'm sorry if my comments sound negative but this is a great apartment just needing some attention. I would definitely return though. No welcome pack as many guests reported receiving but maybe that's stopped.

The furnishings, etc and the amazing view! Westward Ho! had an good range of restaurants and shops and provided us with a perfect base to explore the area.

Excellent accommodation, very well furnished & spotlessly clean.

Just one small note, the entrance door is accessed from the pathway leading from the visitor car park not the main entrance. Took us some time to find this !!

Rear bedroom window corroded, so very hard to close for fear of breaking it, other than that it was lovely, will probably book again

This was a lovely apartment which matched its description and photos.

It was well equipped and the secure access to the apartments and car parking was great, although a mention of a second key and fob would have been good as we only found this on our last day. Instructions for the heating and hot water would have been helpful as it was a little chilly at times and there wasn't always enough hot water for showers. We appreciated the welcome cream tea and absolutely loved the views from the property - Westward Ho! is a lovely place to visit

Absolutley stunning property the views were priceless.

Everything you could need was included, the bed was one of the most comfotable ive stayed in. The only negative was the cleanliness, the property was very dusty particularly the main bedroom but all the surfaces needed a good clean, we even had to wipe the tv screen before we turned it on it was that smeared However this didnt spoil our break and we would return Westwood Ho is a beautiful place to stay

Absolutely beautiful apartment, the location is stunning, endlessly changing views, the sound of the sea is so soothing!

Parking space is very useful, it's right at the back of the garage but there is an exit very close to it, taking you to another exit up to your door (took us a day to realize this)! The apartment is modern and well equipped and owner was responsive to any questions. Westward Ho! has everything you need if you don't want to go much further, but is also a great base for the surrounding area.

Absolutely loved the accommodation. View, sea, comfort everything wonderful. Underground car park a joy. Recommend taking a pair of binoculars. We lazed about, relaxed and chilled, and took up a new hobby of “sea watching”. Sunsets and rainbows were amazing. Have made some comments in maintenance book. Surface cleaning fine, deep clean required. A few damp patches. Have tried to book for next June/July but sadly all booked up. This is by far the best property we have ever hired.

Wow what a view and such a wonderful place to stay.

This duplex apartment is a fabulous place with everything you could want. Even has Tempur mattresses on the beds so super comfy. Westward Ho is nicer than some of the reviews led us to believe and the locals were friendly and helpful. All in all we had a lovely week in Devon

Absolutely stunning apartment.

Seaviews amazing. Property had everything covered spacious apartment. Instructions provided covered everything a guest needed for a perfect stay. Kitchen facilities and equipment awesome. Beds very comfy. Bath brilliant. Handy having a ground floor toilet. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. We had a fantastic time.

What a beautiful apartment.

I wish I could buy it! It was luxuriously presented. Everything was top quality and we wanted for nothing else. The cream tea that welcomed us was a delicious treat. The views, whether from the super comfortable bed or sofa, are truly awesome. With that vista the TV was hardly used at all. We were unprepared for and shocked by the abandoned architectural verruca that occupies the area behind and which has been left to rot so badly. I trust that those responsible for allowing this blight are no longer permitted to work in that field! However once inside the wonderful Horizon View nothing else mattered. We just drank in the panoramic beauty in every visible direction looking out from this slice of heaven. It was an absolute joy to spend a few days here. I cannot wait to visit again.

Very comfortable and modern with everything we needed for the perfect stay. A delicious cream tea was awaiting for us upon our arrival, such a lovely gesture. We will most definitely be staying here again.

Wow what a beautiful apartment.

The view was stunning. Easy to find and easy secure parking. Can’t fault the place. Two big balconies. Very large living room and master bedroom. Very clean. Everything you could want from a holiday. Lots to do and see even in late October. Thank you to owners and Sykes.

Great apartment with amazing views.

The apartment was clean and had everything you need. A parking space too. Right next to the beach, shops and places to eat. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This was a wonderful place and everything was of good quality.

from the cookware to the appliances. As for the views we both loved it and will book it again the next time we are going to Devon. It really felt like a home away from home it felt so relaxed having the door open listening to the sea was so calming. The only little fault i would have would be the large door in the living room leading to the balcony is very hard to open and close as it feels like something is jamming it from gliding along the runner but this would not stop us from rehiring this place
