Okanagan

The location of the flat was brilliant.

Although the listing mentions the narrow alleyway to the carpark and its dimensions - it must be noted that only small cars can get through this. The flat is nice but the curtains in the main bedroom need fixing as they are hanging off the rail and the pulley cord doesn’t work. The kitchen sink makes noise after use so it needs plunging at the very least. The sofa was lovely but the throw on it would not stay in place at all - I suggest a different non slippy throw or no throw. I think the entrance door should have a thumb turn on the inside to make it safer in the event of a fire. I was surprised to have to strip the beds at end of our stay. I ran an Airbnb in the past and never got my visitors to strip beds. I couldn’t open the bedroom windows so the bedrooms were very hot but each one had a tower fan.

This is a lovely, spacious apartment, right in the heart of the town, and has everything you can need in the well-equipped kitchen.

The welcome pack was very welcome indeed, with local produce, and the pint of milk on arrival was very helpful. The washing machine was a slight problem - it had dirty water in it, we think it was because it wasn't plumbed in properly. The heating was a bit eccentric as well. Apart from that, it was great.

We had a fantastic week and Okanagan was a great base from which to enjoy a Winter break in Lyme.

The flat has some really nice spaces (bath and kitchen) and some “run down” spaces.

The bedroom drapes didn’t work on the pull cords, and one was broken at the top. I had to use a close peg 9 feet off the ground to get them to stay closed. The couches are shedding their faux leather all over the living room. We were provided with only one key, which was problematic for our group of three. The location is fantastic, as we always enjoy everything Lyme Regis has to offer.

Central location is good.

Kitchen is good overall , although flooring by the sink is torn and could cause an accident. Fridge shelving is inadquate - shelf to store bottles in door is missing. Shower room is good but reported very poor shower head /water flow on our stay. Delighted this was changed the following day and vastly improved shower facility. Also asked for curtain which was hanging off the rail to be repaired , this was again done the following day. Found the apartment to be a little tired and in need of some TLC , curtains and settees would benefit from replacement as appear quite shabby now. One last comment is that the Owners pay some attention to the entrance - the stairs/windows really need cleaning down and the moss removing from the doorway. This would provide a more welcoming arrival and first impression. Loved Lyme Regis and would recommend a stay as the area, beaches shops, cafes and restaurants are excellent.

Apartment is located in a good position on the main street in Lyme Regis.

Handy for the beach and local shops if you run out of anything. Interior of the property was comfortable although getting a little tired. However it was adequate for our needs and well equipped. First impressions are important and attention to the stairs leading to the apartment and a general tidy up in the vicinity would greatly improve matters. The stairs were mentioned in a previous review and whilst accepting they are shared would only appear to lead to one apartment higher up. Access via archway is tight and anything wider than our mazda 2 would have struggled. All things considered we had a good week .

I always book with Lyme bay holidays.

This flat was in a great location but it needs attention. The carpets need washing they are filthy and the shower glass is immaculate but the black mould and scum on the bottom needs cleaning out . Also there are cigarette butts and muck on the outside of the door. I understand these are communal stairs but it is quite off putting when yr a non smoker. Sorry guys but on this occasion the accommodation wasn’t great I won’t book this again.

We enjoyed a long weekend at Okanagan, it's centrally located so really handy for all that Lyme Regis has to offer.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and the thoughtful little details, like the welcome pack were very much appreciated! Lyme Bay Holidays were quick to respond to emails, we will definitely book through them again!

Amazing location, great value.

Very comfortable accommodation with everything you'd need.

The first impression on arriving at Orkanagan was not good, the external stairs was very dirty and there was a lot of discarded cigarette ends.

The curtains was hanging down in the living area. In the double bedroom, the curtains were hanging down and the door was off the wardrobe. The door was propped inside the wardrobe so it was difficult to hang our clothes properly. During a telephone conversation on the Saturday we arrived I was told that because we was staying for 2 weeks someone would bring fresh bed linen and towels halfway through the holiday, this never happened. I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture.In our opinion Okanagan is a very basic and overpriced apartment what desperately needs updating. The only positive feedback is it's clean and is in a good location to explore Lyme Regis. Would me and my family stay here again, absolutely not!

Nice little clean self contained flat, perfect for Lyme Regis Town centre and beach.

Very comfortable double bed with a super thick mattress which was perfect for a good night sleep. Lovely shower.
